Things That Make You Go Hmmm...

It's C+C Music Factory with their 3rd hit off the early 90s debut album for the supergroup. Until I heard the radio versions of this single - I did not realize how reworked the vocals were for the choruses. It's minor to the average listener - but the album version features much more soulful and stylized female vocals. (for a female singer repeating only 1 line at least) The radio version has much more boring "pop" vocals on the chorus. (maybe that is the point for the song? or maybe that was to "appeal" to pop radio more?) The house mixes are interesting and worth a listen as well.
