Great clogs!
I grew up in Europe wearing clogs so I’m picky about my clogs. These are not only nice looking but as far as clogs go very comfortable.

Great clogs but still breaking them in
I had high hopes for the clogs. They are beautiful made with high quality materials but they are still a bit tight. I think I missed the return window so I’d still working them in. On me, are tight just above my instep. I’m bummed that they were not a perfect fit out of the box but I’m not giving up yet.

Unfinished clogs?
Gosh, I really wanted to like these, but they feel like an unfinished product. I’m wearing them for the 2nd time since I bought them a year ago and I just got a splinter in my finger from the rough unsanded, unsealed wood base. I got a splinter from my shoes. 😑This is my 2nd time wearing them because the first time my feet hurt so bad after 8 hours at my desk job that I really felt I had been walking with bricks tied to my feet all day. I’m typically a wearer of Danskos, almost exclusively, and before I bought these I purchased a pair of wood sole clogs from Bjork.Since the lotta’s sand Bjork’s are most similar, allow me to compare. The wooden balance or mid sole of the Lottas are very coarse and “raw”. I don’t know if they are meant to be. Makes them look more rugged I guess, but also, splinters. Watch your fingies. The Bjork clogs have a semi matte finish that seals the wood and makes it smooth and consistent. The foot bed of the Lottas isn’t well contoured for a foot. I personally hate the toe groove because if your toe doesn’t fall in just the right spot then it’s coming down on a wooden edge, which does not feel good. Also the highest part of the bed should be the arch, but to me it feels like the arch and heel are the same level while the ball of the foot is lower. So the foot isn’t cradled nicely in a perfectly shaped foot groove. It’s more or less sitting on half a block of flattish, unfinished wood that grabs at your socks. The bjork clogs have a more contoured foot bed with no toe groove so I find them more comfortable and natural feeling on my foot. The outsole of the Lotta has a concave shape, like a cheap flat you’d buy at target or rite-aide. Not only that, but the concave shape is only half of the sole. Looking closely at the Midas patterned sole I can see that it protrudes more on one half of the pattern and where the pattern changes direction the sole become shallow and concave. The heel is fully concave with a suction cup like appearance. Subtle, but there, and something I expect in a very low quality, cheap shoe. It’s also very flat and does not have a rocker bottom construction. The bjork has a rocker bottom with an appropriately shaped sole that is consistent and the shoe rocks when walking.Sizing- the lottas are a more narrow shoe. I wear and 8 and bought the 39 and they fit fine. The leather upper is nice and thick with a nice grain. The problem is walking. They hurt the top of my feet when I walk. They aren’t too tight because when I stand there is still space between my foot and the upper but when walking the leather on top is pretty unforgiving and after a day my feet feel bruised on top. This happens a little with bjorks when I haven’t worn them for awhile, but it’s temporary and mild. I think it must have to do with the thickness of the leather, the shape of the cut, and where the upper ends on the foot. The bjorks have a wider toe box, but I actually bought a 38 in those and without socks they are fine. So they are probably the same length, size for size with the Lottas. So there you go.I like the Bjorks. You’re welcome.

Made well. Stylish. Fit tight, break in needed.
They are nice, seem like they are made well.I got the taupe color, lighter then expected. I’m an 8.5-9 so I got a 9The top of clog fit very tight.I used metal coffee thermoses and stuck the bottom into the shoe to help stretch. Worked well.I’ve only worn handful of times. My feet were sore after a 4 hour night, some walking but mostly spent sitting. I expected it with this style of shoe, given the hard wood sole. I’m hoping this will lesson as they get work in and feet get used to them. For the price and quality they are a great purchase.

Great buy
Actual wood bottom and leather top, great quality. Fits very true to size and good amount of room in toe area. Love them.

These shoes are comfortable. If you are expecting a cushy sole, these are not for you. These are clogs. I love them!!!
