Check the size and thread carefully.
The U tube connector is well made and works as described. The U tube is just one of many available as well as the slip hose connections that it attaches to. I ordered them separately but description says often ordered together and thought I had a matched pair and there was a mismatch and I had to return this and had to make a permanent fitting using JB Weld to my old U tube hose connection. Fair amount of rework and reassembly required. Measure and compare carefully.

Pain to install.
Perfect fit but tough job installing it. Had to take all the screws out of one of the round spool ends. Be sure to use wrenches on all nut areas, so you don't twist the tube.

Follow the directions. At my age, I have stone hands and wooden fingers. I had no issues with installation. It's a good part.

Works as intended
Installation directions are awful. A complete PIA to install. Once installed however it stopped the leak and functions as intended

A perfect replacement
I replaced both the Elbow Connector and the swivel on my Liberty 704 hose reel. The original parts were aluminum. They started leaking and replacement was the only real option. It was a little tough removing the old part, but once I disassembled, the replacement was very easy.
