tool works BUT the lead recedes into holder tip when you apply any pressure to it - and you have to apply pressure to have a line dark enough to see. Arms are flimsy but acceptable for enlarging basic shapes but can't do any complex - better to simply go to copy store and have image enlarged if you need an image larger tham 8 /12 x 11 from a standard home printer. Would NOT but again.

I would not buy this as there is no instuctions on how to use it.

I needed to google “pantograph” to figure out how to set this up. This device is not suitable for precise work. I needed to enlarge a silhouette outline drawing of a dog 3X, it worked fine for that.

Well made, but the directions are in Chinese, but you can find pantograph directions on iTunes.

I am an artist and I usually free hand my sketches. Lately I have started doing subjects that need a bit more precision and bought this photograph to help with that. I have never used one of these before and there were no instructions with this item. That is why it lost one star from me. I did figure it out, it helps to know what it is for after all. While it might seem flimsy that helps make it easier to use as you trace your source material with the stylus. Once you figure it out it actually is simple and easy. You Tube helps with the first step.
