I ORDERED THESE PILLS ,FOR MY HUSBAND. HE HAS A HARD TIME SALLOWING PILLS. THESE PILLS AREEASY TO SALLOW . THIS IS IMPORTANT.,FOR THE REASON IT DOES NOT DISSOLVE IN HIS MOUTH.

Not sure since Doctor told me to stop taking them, lost most of the bottle in fire

Per my doctor I take iron. This was recommended by my doctor as an expensive alternative to prescription iron pills. Saved a bunch of money using these.

When originally searching for iron tablets that resembled the ones you would find in the hospital, it led me to these. I can't take normal iron supplements since they hurt my stomach but the ones in the hospital has no side effects for me. I wanted to include a picture of what I received so other people could see that they are black pills and fairly small.My personal use: In conjunction with folic acid & prenatalsBest tip for these: Iron's best friend is Vitamin C. It breaks down better so grab a cup of OJ or something with Vitamin C and take it around the same time as this pill. I recommend not taking on an empty stomach. Also - Calcium works against it and slows down the break down process so try to get this down with some Vitamin C first and then you can have your milk, cheese, or other dairy product a little after.Hope this helps!

Please Note: This product contains 1000 pills of 325mg Ferrous Sulfate which is equal to 65mg of Elemental Iron.Please disregard reviews that say “I had to take 5 of these get 325mg”. These people have probably given themselves Iron toxicity, unless their doctors or caregivers were able to save them from themselves. These pills are the same as you’d find in any drug store/pharmacy, but at a more cost effective price. Take them with a MEAL, not a snack or a sip of water if you want to avoid stomach upset.

i was sent an expired bottle and the other one i ordered expired within a year. too many pills for that timeframe (and a bit overpriced if ya ask me.)

PlusPharma Ferrous Sulfate 325 mg Tablets, 1000 Count- Got these after an ER visit and doctor recommended for iron deficient anemia treatment. Found out a few weeks later the oral supplements cannot really absorb since having RNY bariatric surgery 10yrs ago- need to get iron infusions every so often for a lifetime. Malabsorption after weight loss surgery is a reality for most. Get your levels checked regularly.
