SIE-P2 Murray or Siemens Generator Interlock Kit 150 amp or 200 amp Panels

Have ordered about a dozen different interlocks from these guys in the past. Always received a retail packaged item - sealed with header card, instructions, labels etc. This package showed up in a white bubble package with no header card and packaged in zip lock bags. Sticker says made in China.It still works but I really do like having the packaging so I can show my inspector that it is an approved item. Also really wish these came with a proper tie down instead of zip ties. Always having to go buy that tie down to make this a proper install. Zip ties are goofy for holding down a breaker.

These interlock are easy to install and work with great simplicity. You are paying for the engineering more than the materials. No guess work just quality material, expert fit and function. Your lineman's life is worth going the extra precaution. I have already recommended this company's interlock components to friends who are going to order them and take the same safety measures on their homes.

Let's be honest... this is just a piece of stamped metal. The cost to produce is probably a couple of bucks, yet they sell these at more than 60 (some are more than 100 bucks). It works just fine, but it's obvious that they are taking advantage of the fact that they come with a "certified" sticker on it to dip into your wallet. It works, and I bought it to have a legal installation, but I certainly feel taken advantage of.

After a positive experience with this product in my last home, I decided to come back for another. The device is absurdly expensive considering that it's just a couple of pieces of punched metal and a few screws, but it's still way cheaper than a traditional transfer switch and the labor to install it. Completely ineffective if the cover to the panel is removed, so adding a large warning label beneath the cover might be a good idea. Bottom line: safe and effective if used according to the instructions.

I like the quality of this product. This interlock is full proof no chance of forcing the generator breaker on by mistake. I have used others over the years and this one is the best of all of them.

After unboxing I found everything in order and nothing missing. This is complete in every way. The instructions were clear and understandable. I'm happy I bought it and recommend it for anyone installing a generator to back feed their panel.

Works great. Ensures safety when switching between grid power and gen power. Clear instructions. Even correct size drill bit is included for installation. Very well made and sturdy.
