Comfy Nights Pollycotton Pair Of Pillow cases - White

Yes, these are soft. But that’s the only positive thing I can say. Nothing special. What’s annoying is that pillow cases have extra material inside like a flap, which you fit over the pillow and you don’t thrn see the pillow and it stays in place. The flap on pillow cases I normally buy are about 6-8 ins. On these pillow cases the flap is about 2 in’s which is totally useless on any pillow. Therefore the pillow moves out from under the flap and the pillowcase and pillow part company as they come away from each other. Also, you can still see the pillow when it’s inside the case due to these short flaps (I don’t know what to call them other than a flap, sorry). Bit like a builder’s bum. So every morning I wake up to a pillow half covered by the pillow case. My pillows aren’t particularly plump but if they were it would be far worse. And they’re expensive for what they are. I’ll stick to Dunelm from now on so I’m assured of what I’m getting, quality and value for money.

Just wanted two basic pillow cases for base pillows. These are made of a decent material and are a perfect fit for a standard size pillow. Could have paid a lot more and not got much better.

THIS IS A VERY STIFF MATERIAL, BUT I'M HOPING IT WILL WASH SOFTER, WHICH I WILL HAVE TO DO BEFORE USING THEM. ON TURNING THEM INSIDE OUT, I FOUND THAT 4CM OF A SEAM WAS MISSING AND THE REST OF THE SEWN SEAMS ARE NOT LOOKING TO SECURE. LUCKILY I HAVE A SEWING MACHINE, SO I HAVE RUN OVER ALL THE SEAMS AGAIN. Not good for anyone who doesn't want to sew before use.ADDITION; Cases have been through a wash now with fabric conditioner and feel much better.

I did open them briefly and found them to be very soft and silky to the touch .m, and very good value. They were as part of a present fir my granddaughter so beyond that I can’t really comment.

Not impressed with these re: colour. Not a bright yellow (or dull yellow for that matter) more a dirty white. Comfortable to lie on, easy to wash/iron but defeats the point if bought for the colour. Disappointed!

Happy with these pillow slips, really lovely colour. I washed them straight away but they are not as soft as my other ones, but maybe after a few more washes they will be fine. Obviously the colour ran when I washed them but that is to be expected. Would recommend.Thank you.

I thought I was ordering usual size pillowcases. Upon opening package it was one long pillowcase that took two pillows. The whole thing was like a bolster and went across a double bed. However, it suits me fine. I have placed two pillows side by side in the case and use it as a pillow/bolster sham. Do not buy this product if you want single pillow cases.
