Worked perfectly
I melted the handle on my tea kettle using the super boil level of my burner. The replacement handle fits perfectly. My only complaint would be that it would been nice to have instructions and how to remove and then replace the nuts that hold it in place.

Yes, this is a perfect replacement, but at this price the handle shouldn’t need to be replaced for the third time. It should be made out of a more heat resistant material. When

Use the right tool (crescent wrench) to remove the bolts to replace the handle
After an attempt to use pliers or socket wrench to remove the bolts on the old handle, we took our kettle to Ace Hardware in our area (thanks Corbetts)! Their helpful staff member used an adjustable crescent wrench to delicately remove the dome shaped bolts. He then gently twisted the handle counter clockwise to unthread the hook from the old handle, removed the old handle and then thread the hook onto the new handle in the same manner this timeClockwise. The pin and hook DID NOT need to be removed. It was all replaced in less than ten minutes. We are forever grateful to Corbetts for their stellar customer service. And having saved our beautiful vintage Sapper kettle, we have many more years of use without staring at a melted handle. Now if only Alessi could make the entire handle heat resistant. Very pleased we got this part. And have ordered a few more items from the amusespot website where many Alessi parts can be ordered. Many thanks to the guys at Ace Hardware/ Corbett’s.

missing black replacement nuts
no black nuts shipped with package......when removed older black nuts had paint chipped off.....aesthetics tarnished....where can I order replacement nuts?

Owned one since the 80's!
We have owned this water kettle since the 80's. It is still current in design and function. We love it. I was surprised to see how expensive they have become and glad to find replacement parts still available. The parts I ordered were perfect and installed easily. Great, timeless designer kettle.

Essential Part Replacement
This is an essential part for a beautiful but badly designed kettle. It is the fourth replacement for this particular vessel. The handle is vulnerable to melting over a gas flame but easily replaced.
