Loma LindaPlant-Based Complete Meal Solution Packets (Southwest Chipotle Bowl (10 oz.), 6 pack)

The Chipotle Bowl tastes great and has a good kick to it. Eating it for the first time and looking at the name "Chipotle" gave me an idea.So, this is what I did: I emptied all the packages into a bowl and added some more brown rice and ground vegan beef, mixing it all up. Now you have a lot of food in a big bowl.Then out came the large tortillas, and voila, I had the prime ingredients for Burritos. Add some of the mixture onto a tortilla, with some shredded cheese on the top, roll it, and wrap it with aluminum foil. These are very close to the Chipotle Safrita Burritos, and after I rolled all of them, I ended up with 6 large Burritos. I put 2 each inside one of three freezer bags and now have the option to eat a great burrito whenever I chose, as long as I don't forget to move it from the freezer to the fridge the evening before.Depending on how much rice you add, the mixture might become a bit dry. If this is a problem, you can always add salsa or Picante Sauce to moisten it up.If you don't like Burritos, then the pouch on its own will be a great meal.I highly recommend it.

Beware this product is not returnable and the information on the amazon site which is supposedly the side of the box is false information. The box on amazon states that the pouch is a 2 serving size and that the calories for the 2 servings is 130 and sodium is 544mg but the actual pouch out of the box says that it is 1 serving and the sodium is listed as 1080mg. This is way too much sodium for someone already taking blood pressure meds and cannot return these so please beware even though I thought the 544mg was too bad but info seems to be misleading!

The high sodium and potassium do not seem healthy. There are 2 servings in one packet but I wonder how many people eat one half of the opened packet?If it were not for health concerns with high sodium and potassium amounts, if on a renal diet, these are hot and tasty. Good to store. Maybe add FRESH veggies too.

The flavor is good aside from the textured soy protein which is a huge turnoff.They should make the same bowl without fake meat and just add more beans for protein.

I'm not a big fan of this flavor. Probably be good if you like bland food. Try a packed before you invest in a box.

This is surprisingly delish! It's filling with a little heat. It goes great with eggs, avocado, and cheese:)

A filling meal with relatively low calories. Good with a little rice as well.
