Okay Smart Toothbrush
A very clever product but my grand children are less than amazed. It requires a smart phone app to be completely functional and that is somewhat tedious. So it basically functions as an automatic toothbrush which isn't a bad thing. The app does show where to brush but young kids are not particularly impressed with that and busy Moms don't really have time t mess with it.

Finally - A toothbrush to teach how to brush properly!
I backed this toothbrush on KickStarter. As an orthodontist I tell my patients that it's not the toothbrush that matters, it's the tooth brusher that matters. Plaque can be effectively removed with almost any toothbrush if it's properly used. That's where the new generation of connected/smart toothbrushes come in and the Kolibree is the best I've seen so far. This brush actually helps the tooth brusher in multiple ways. It encourages brushing long enough, coaches technique and motivates with the game in the app. It also tracks frequency of brushing (think FitBit for your teeth). I've tried several other connected brushes and so far this one is the top and way ahead of the big toothbrush companies in what the purpose of a connected toothbrush is supposed to be. I can't wait to see what else they have planned.

Much more than an electric toothbrush
I used to have an electric toothbrush, but after having bought this Kolibree toothbrush, I can say that it's much more than that. The combination of the toothbrush + the app on my iPhone really changes my brushing habit (making me realize it was not done properly btw), and especially the brushing habits of my kids who now enjoy brushing their teeth like they never did before!
