An exact replacement for my hessaire portable evaporative cooler

Easy replacement
Read the instructions before removing the old pump and installing the new one. It’s simple enough but you’ll need either a flex drive screwdriver/attachment or an angled screwdriver. There’re some tight spaces. You’ll also need two cable or zip ties. That would make the replacement a breeze. Luckily I have cable ties. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my angled screwdriver so I used a wrench and a Philips head bit from my drill to remove the screws from the swamp cooler. It still took me less than 20 minutes to replace the pump once I figured a way to remove the screws.I noticed there was a lot of debris in the tank. The water curtain does a great job of filtering particles from the air. Looked mostly like pollen. I washed out the tank and wiped down the fan housing before reassembling. I’m going to look for easy ways to clean it out on a regular basis. I’ve seen some products for that so I’ll be testing them in the next few months.

This pump went in easy and gave my cooler a new life!
This is an OEM pump so things went together perfectly and I didn’t have to jury rig any of it. Works great and the price is reasonable. I’m very pleased with my purchase!

It works!
It works. It is not identical to my pump, and the screws to hold the pump did not fit at all, no way near close, but the suctions seem to work fine. I was too hot and my other pump went out in my swamp cooler, so I was pleased it pumped the water and stayed in place with the suctions.

A lot of cuss words
Removing the back screw on the little pump. Mine ,I found after a struggle of getting out , where square heads! Go figure!And it was easier to twist the hose that goes on the pump the oposite way and then screw in other than cutting off all the ties. U have to twist it like 6 or 7 times for it to come out right when u screw it into the pump.My new one was a pretty purple. Wish the whole machine was this color. 🤗
