Does not have the mesh but still stays on for several casts
Caught several whiting and pompano using this bait. Highly recommend.

As stupid as it looks it works. I only use a 3/4 in. piece. Usually after unhooking the fish it is still on the hook an I continue using it 'till it melts away, which takes awhile!

Sold as 2-pack, but only get 1. Every. Time.
The product is great BUT this item is sold as a 2-pack. However I have ordered it three times and each time only 1 was shipped. I had to chat online after every delivery to get the remainder of the 2-pack shipped to me. Amazon please fix it: it’s either a 2-pack or not!!

Works great as bait. Color matters a lot!
I’ve found the white strips perfect for surf fishing here in SE FL. Unfortunately sometimes packers are colorblind and just send you fishbites in whatever color they have. My most recent order of white came in packs of flesh color which is terrible since that blends in with the sand instead of standing out.
