Listen carefully :) every lock can be cut it does t matter how well, because cheap grinder can even cut diamond hardness, they shape diamon with basic sand particules already, so there is no unbreakable chain ever, some easier to bresk some harder, so they wont be able to cut this with side cutter or small chain cutter, and big things is eventuslly cut anythimg so tjis is perfect lock chain, it comes with ticker wariant but twoce as heavy if you in big city you might consider heavier version

This is good if you prefer chain locks over U-locks, want something you can trust, but don't want to carry 20lb of heavy chain. It's very convenient to haul around. The only downsides are that it's kind of a pain to lock, and the key is kind of tricky to put in. It's a pain when you're locking it up in the dark or don't have a lot of slack in the chain. If I were to purchase again, I'd get a longer version and see if the v 2.0 had a better design for locking it up.

Been using this for a few months now and have had no complaints! I did a ton of research to find one that is sturdy, secure, and easy to travel with. The only hard part is getting used to locking it but once you get it down, it’s seamless.

Perfect for short times away from the bike, coffee shop or having lunch. easily worn as a belt, I keep it in the back pack. it does have some weight to it.

My fiance and I have been using these hiplocks for months and, frankly, the convenience of wearing it as a (lightweight) belt instead of having to worry about wrapping a lock around parts of your body, bike or tossing it in a basket - or whatever - has been a godsend, a blessing. Not to mention, it's extremely well-made, very durable, and hip (no pun intended). HIGHLY recommend this for any sort of bike (cruiser or single-speed). They're not cheap, but... the convenience / cool factor is worth it in the long run. A must-buy for anyone looking for a bike chain/lock.P.S. If you live in an area with high bike theft, you will want to use this Hiplock in conjuction with a bike cable (to secure both front and back wheels to the frame).

Cool idea, looks good, but a about 6" too short of being very good. It's just not long enough to go through the frame and the front wheel the same time

I've had this thing over a year and love it! Very sturdy. Easy to wear and use! Very nice product. The key has a very unique curve to it, also, which to me equals added security.

Great chain, seems very sturdy. However I have two issues with this. The first, it's not long enough. I can't even fit this around my front wheel and frame because it's too short. There are so many situations when I can't use this chain lock because it's simply too short. The other issue is the lock is a tiny bit fiddly and can be annoying to lock and unlock. I suppose that's the price you pay for it being secure. I have gotten a bit used to it now and am faster at locking and unlocking it.

In a Deliveroo rider and this lock is perfect for quick locks ups.BUT it failed me big time! The locking mechanism on the padlock failed, meaning my bike was locked to a lampost while I had an order to deliver. I had to return the delivery, which meant I lost the payment from that order.I had to ram the key in and out repeatedly and eventually the lock released. About 30 minutes had passed in this time which meant I lost around £10 in income.To avoid losing more income I had to spend the rest of my shift leaving my bike unsecured.Avoid if you want a reliable lock.

My bike was stolen, whilst being locked with this lock and another loop look. The only positive about this is that's what the insurance company will accept as a good enough lock.

Great luck that's really convenient and secure. When worn I forgot I even had it on as it didn't get in the way at all. I would however say that I use this as a second lock. Wouldn't use it on it's own as the links atent big/secure enough. Money well spent.

Difficult and fiddly to lock especially if you're in a rush - pinches fingers, never closes without careful jiggling, half the time feels like it locks until you walk away and it just comes apart, key only fits one way around yet you can't easily see which is the right way. Like this from new. Otherwise works fine.
