I was a bit unsure about buying footwear from an online retailerBut I was surprised how comfortable these shoes are very happy with my purchase.

Nice and light bit loose on the ankle

I bought these on first August 23.The sole started to separate from the upper so I thought I would the shoe repairer to glue them back on.He gave them a good look then showed me the heels were also coming away and the soles were all cracked and perishing.Force every penny counts and to say I am gutted is an understatement.I couldn't discover how to get them replaced so I am assuming that's not possible

I'm giving this review 3* because of a number of factors, firstly the shoes were not a good fit, they were too wide.Secondly the returns process was not hassle free although this might be down to an Amazon problem rather than a Chums one (followed the instructions for printing a return label which resulted in two pages of instructions but no address label. Then followed the printed instructions which ended up being confusing and contradictory).Thirdly, the refund took far too long.The shoes themselves looked quite nice but too big, to get a better star rating I would suggest either Amazon or Chums have a facility were could compare the internal size of the shoe i.e. the "foot print" no pun intended. I say this because I take a wide fitting with Hi Teh trainers and these fit really well so it must be down to manufacturers interpretation of what constitutes as "wide". Secondly sort out the returns process.

As I work in security I need a comfortable shoe. I received a shoe from work for uniform that was ridiculously uncomfortable and hard. This shoe was right up my alley, reasonably priced and comfortable and an excellent shoe for commuting in throughout London.Highly recommended
