LxTekCompatible Drum Unit Replacement for Brother DR630 DR-630 High Yield to use with HL-L2300D MFC-L2705DW HL-L2300D MFC-L2720DW HL-L2320D Printer ( Black, 2 Pack)

Upon opening the box, I was impressed at the manner in which the 2 shrink-wrapped drum units were sent. They were mounted securely in foam endcaps in a tightly fitted box which itself was then placed in a second outer box with the Amazon logo.I still had a functional drum unit in my Brother DCP-L2540, but wanted to test these drum units upon arrival. I removed my original (Brother Brand) drum unit and noted that there was no difference in the quality of the plastic frame around the drum. Infact except for the end label on the handle at the back of the toner holder, this LxTek was identical to the Brother. I made several prints and the print quality seems identical as well. I can't speak for the longevity yet, but at $30 for a 2-pack, I feel these are a great buy (especially when the Brother Brand is nearly $90 for 1).

I recently purchased the LXTEK DR630 Drum unit after the "old tried and true" betrayed me with poor quality printing. When the package arrived I was pleasantly surprised with two drum units in the box. The price is about 1/2 of the Brother original equipment drum unit. Installation is very easy even for a tech challenged person like me and they included an instruction booklet, too. You just take the toner unit out of your old drum and pop it in the new drum and insert it into the printer. My printer is a brother dcp-L2540dw. The quality of the copies after the drum change is very good. Both print and solids are sharp. My postal labels are easy to see again. I highly recommend this product.

***UPDATE***Just spent the last hour trying to remedy printing problems. Installed second drum for a SLIGHT improvement that deteriorated with each page. Second drum unit did not want to slide into the printer easily. I should've tested this product more thoroughly when I was still in the return window. I miss the crisp lines of my original cartridge.Currently, I'm not getting high quality printing. Some of the printing results are pretty faded and my printer is almost constantly flashing the drum light.It might work better with a different off-brand toner cartridge, but I've been using those cartridges since I bought the printer and haven't had a problem with those.I don't know about the longevity of the product as I have limited my printing based on quality.

I was very impressed at the longevity of this drum set. I use it in a medical office that prints hundreds of papers a day.. it is by far, better and lasts longer than the leading Brother drum set as far as quality and costs!! Packaging was protected and sealed, great work!!

One drum usually lasts me at least one school year, but this one has been and is asking me to replace it at less than half of that time!! 😔My printer was first telling me to replace the drum only a few weeks after I put one of these new ones in. I definitely hadn’t printed anywhere near the 12,000 pages! I turned it off, took it out, put it back in and turned it back on. It was okay for a bit and didn’t give me that message again for awhile - until this past week. 😫

Very good compatible drum unit. Easy to replace and fits/behaves just like the original drum unit. Buy with confidence, but remember this is just the drum unit, not toner.

I replaced the drums in two of my printers that had developed lines. These worked great and were much cheaper then the OEM version. I have been using them for about three months with no issues.

Buying brand name replacement parts is expensive! This product fits as well as the brand name part, and gives me smooth, clear, trouble-free printing at a fraction of the price. Four out of five stars on longevity because I've only installed a couple of months ago, so can't speak to. But I'm super happy with this purchase so far, and would recommend to friends, family-- or to you!
