Potted Dwarf Hairgrass Aquarium Live Plant by West Coast Aquatics

The dwarf hairgrass arrived in great condition. It was easy to snip apart the plastic basket and separate the hairgrass into two clumps. I put one clump in each of my betta aquariums and they are still green and healthy. No complaints.

My love swimming through these and they make my tank look pretty damn nice of i say so myself

Awesome plant. Easy to plant. Hardy and spreading quickly. Goldfish are leaving alone.

All other plants I've purchased at the same time looked great. This grass didn't turn out as I expected but it is what it is. Hopefully it will recover. Customer service is excellent so I give the stars to that.

I was terribly upset with the packaging of this item. If did not come in the container that the image imiage above (falsely) lead me to believe. It instead came in a disgusting ziplock bag, with some paper towel to secure the hair grass. The quality of the hair grass was also pitiful. I was also disappointed with the quantity of the hair grass that I received. I was so displeased with my purchase that I eventually went to a petsmart to buy a better quality and quantity hair grass from the topfin brand. It is sellers like this one, that make supporting independent companies or individuals hard, and lead those who want to support small businesses go to big business.

I've had it in my tank for months now, eventually it just took off and grew to the top of the tank. This product wasn't dwarf hair grass, it was tall/umbrella hair grass Eleocharis vivipara. Not upset about the bait and switch, its still a good plant. Slightly annoyed that I have to keep trimming it to it doesn't take over the whole vertical dimension of my tank.

Disappointed. I received it brown and so far it's not better. Will keep an eye on it and update in a few nonths.

Clever packaging. Beautiful, healthy plant.
