EVSSports SB02BK-L SB02 Shoulder Support (Large) , Black

I dislocated my right shoulder 6 times. I was fed up and bought a bunch of braces. I dislocated it badly by falling forward, putting my arm out and it pushed it up so far back it disloated. I put it back in place mynself, by extending my arm all the way out striaght, layin on the ground and holding that position, my arm all the way up. That allows it to go back in the socket. After 4 min I roll over, and it goes back in and i put my arm down. Crucial knowledge if this happens to use. Also push on the top of your shoulder blade, while u have your arm fully extended to sort of push it in.Ok, so back to the braces. This brace was no good for me. I needed a brace with straps on top so I can actually prevent my arm from moving up in the air. Like restrict it from moving up too far to prevent this dislcation from happenin because it is too much, I'm fed up and can't take it no more. I only need to wear it while I skate or snowboard. So I bought this but realized the other models with those extra straps allow you to regulate exactly how far your arm will go up. Perfect for what I need. Also it will make u aware that your arm is injured so you can be aware to prevent injuries. ok, hope that helps.

I have a recurring shoulder injury that I really upset by changing 4 wheels on an SUV recently. This support seems to help a lot. As other reviewers suggested, it's much more comfortable over a thin T-Shirt. I'm a chest size 44 and I purchased the Large. I should have gone with the XL (44 is the change over point between L and XL). I can't relax the L at all whereas I could have relaxed the XL so it's not quite so tight on my chest. This is good value in my opinion. It seems well made and the Velcro adjustments appear high quality.

Very comfortable and supportive. I wear mine under my shoulder pads for ice hockey, and it adds enough support that I don't favor my "weak" shoulder while playing. I basically put it on and forget about old injuries and just play. Also doesn't limit my mobility at all.UPDATE: I have downgraded my rating of this product from 5 to 3 stars b/c the quality is pretty poor. After one season of ice hockey, stick times, and pick up games my brace is so tattered that I can hardly wear it without it falling apart. The shoulder support is still pretty good, but it will have to be replaced before I start ice hockey this season. It just wont last more than a couple more washes. If you buy it, just plan on re-purchasing every season...

This device saved my life. I was in auto accident and have one complete thickness tear of one rotator cuff tendon and two partial tears in other tendons. Surgery is out of the question for numerous reasons and with this on I can function and it reminds me not to extend the arm much. It also limits how far forward you can reach arm which again reminds you. The compression sort of takes the place of wrecked tendons. I am very active and a dog walker. It takes some getting used to and I'm in Fla. so it is very hot. Also you must wear a full sleeve t shirt or it will pinch. I am female and luckily have small chest but could definatlly see how that would be a problem for full figured girls. I have no trouble getting into it myself. Just connect the back first and fit your bad arm into sleeve and grab the top with good arm and sort of slip in. You have to tug and pull with good arm to get a good fit. I am left handed and this is a left shoulder so no prob there. All that said I'm buying another because it really decreases the pain not to mention keeping my shoulder from popping out of it's socket! Highly recommend.

The more mobile you are the more the brace rubs you raw. I don’t know if there are any remedies.

I have a torn rotator cuff (3rd time) that my doctor said cannot be fixed. While I researching other options I found some reviews from people with a similar problem that found this brace helpful. I have been using it for 2 days and did a light workout. Reduced any pain significantly. This seems to hold the upper arm in the socket during any lifting motion. Without the rotator cuff muscles the tendency is for the upper arm bone to lift out of the socket causing rubbing, inflammation and wearing of the bone when the deltoid muscle pulls the arm up. I also ordered the SB05 which fits both shoulders. Will write a review after I receive it and use during workout. Had the other shoulder repaired once and figure that it will help support it and reduce chance I will tear that one. Wish I had gotten this after my second surgery and worn it when doing activities that stress the shoulder joint.Go to the EVS website for sizing information prior to purchasing. Initially brought a large and had to return and get a medium. I wore a light tight tee shirt under the brace and did not get any irritation after several hours. Rubber smell disappears after washing.

I bought this product several months ago back in July of '13 because my shoulder dislocations that sort of gotten worst over the couple years of playing sports and it kept me from being as active as I use to. I purchased a Small and the at the time it was sort of a tight fit but the support was perfect. But after using for about a few weeks I've began to notice slight tears in the neoprene material and a week after noticing, the neoprene were torn completely off for the back support strap and by the bicep.As to writing this review, I recently bought a new shoulder support a size bigger hoping to get the same support, for my recent injury, like I have before, from my last purchase. I received the new purchased product and that same day began to use, within that same day after use, not even 24 hours past yet I already notice a tear in the neoprene material and was VERY DISAPPOINTED......NOTE I used it for work and I work in a restaurant, I didn't even get a chance to use it for football practice.

I have received 2 boxes (again) of this support.I had ordered the XX-Large (as described in the listing).Both boxes are marked as X-Large. Both items are marked X-Large. There is a small (added) sticker on each box indicating that they are XX-Large.This is my second order of this item. Same thing happened on the first order.

I don't often write reviews, but this definitely deserves it. Used for a subluxed (partially dislocated) shoulder. This is seriously as good as the $675 brace a prosthetics expert wanted to sell me at less than 1/10 the cost. Velcro is strong, material is comfortable on bare skin, and best part is you can barely see it even wearing a plain tshirt (see photo, yes I'm actually wearing it on my right arm (my right not your right)). And to top it all off, when I initially ordered the wrong size I was refunded within hours of mailing it back, even though they didn't get it for 3 more days. Really sped up the process. Can't recommend it enough.

I bought this because I separated my shoulder and needed something a little more comfortable and supportive than an arm sling. This works perfect. It holds my shoulder up and tight without haven’t to keep my arm elevated in a sling. It fits under a Slim tee shirt and the material is soft on the skin.

Shoulder separated four years ago. Injury progressed to requiring surgery however were it not for this I would not be able to function. It literally holds your shoulder together and supports your arm. Also important as I have a slap tear.Strongly recommend if you have a serious shoulder injury and require additional support for the shoulder and or arm.

Fits well. Works great for my mom who has a dislocated shoulder.
