Lovely Images, A little pricey. I got this for my mom for Christmas, she is a Master Gardener and I thought that'd be a great book for her coffee table. This book is just black and white images. Was hoping it'd have a little more "beef" for the price.

A most beautiful book. Extraordinary photography - will be a handsome gift for friends: he is learning to make daguerrotypes and she is a consummate gardener although not at the caliber of Amy Goldman.

Beautiful book, it is a simple idea but the result is brilliant.

Anything that Amy Goldman writes is amazing. This woman has spearheaded an entire generation of folks who love heirloom veg, fruit, etc. Her books are beautiful and this one is beyond anything she has done before. Her written commentary, together with the photography (old style daguerrotypes by a gifted artist) make this book one of the most interesting vegetable gardening books available on the market!
