Great typical compass that works with complete accuracy. It’s a great heavy but easy to hold weight and it’s great for school!

This compass is great for the cost. It loosens up a bit after some use but it can actually be tightened with a pen knife. I recommend it to parents of all my students.

Great price. I like the rounded tip for using on artwork.

I bought these as a class set and wanted something on the safer side for high school and sturdy enough to last more than one school year. They’re just okay, as some of them don’t hold their position well during use.

The smart rounded tip compass is flimsy and inaccurate. It’s difficult to use and doesn’t stay calibrated. Not worth the purchase for reliable navigation.

A compass should be a simple and sturdy tool that allows accurate measurements. This compass doesn't lock firmly to allow you to make a complete circle in one movement, you must pick it up and make your measurements in quarters. It doesn't make small circles. This is a very flimsy tool for an adult so I don't recommend it for a child who is trying to learn to use one with accuracy.

Unfortunately this compass doesn’t have a way to lock it in position. It gets very loose and won’t keep the correct setting. It’s been very frustrating to use and our student is switching to a different one. Don’t waste your money.
