Old Fashioned Birthday Cake Hard Candy Sticks 80ct. (Birthday Cake)

I've shopped from this retailer before and things were fine, but this last batch of sticks tasted horrible! They left an aftertaste of gasoline that not only myself but several people noticed, plus I had an allergic reaction to them for the first time ever. I contacted the retailer and they blew me off trying to put the fault on me. I contacted Amazon, and they dealt with the retailer and after a bit of effort they got me a refund. Proceed with caution.

the negative review isn't for the taste or quality aspect, but that most of the sticks were broken. If I had wanted them for party bags, or other reasons beside my own or family enjoyment of candy, I would be upset. The taste is good, they aren't gummy like they are old, the size is good for a quick snack of something to suck on.My son wanted them to have to help when he has a sore throat or is coughing a lot, like right now. A piece of candy can help and so I decided to get these, he could break one if he wanted pieces or just suck on the stick. He didn't have to worry about breaking off pieces, I took some out and counted 20 and 13 were broken. Didn't bother to count the rest, just grabbed some by a handful and I could feel that that they were broken. They need to have a padding between them and the bottom of the box. There was bubble plastic around the sides of the packing box, but none on the bottom. Drop the box into a truck and you have busted sticks. Putting bubble wrap on the bottom of the packing boxes would keep them from breaking.

I anticipated a few candy sticks may be broken during shipping, but 70% of the box arrived broken and was a huge disappointment. The flavor quality of a taste tester was great, no soft outside and clove flavor full and spicy, but I needed whole unbroken sticks or would've just ordered the old fashioned spiced hard candy or puff balls. 1 star for Amazon's prompt assistance and because the order did arrive on time and 1 star the Gallium brand candy sticks were individually wrapped and inside a nice shrink wrapped box. - 3 stars for 70% broken and crushed appearing candy sticks, need to reorder and huge disappointment.

You may as well rip up a $20 bill and then spend the remaining $4 on a cheap box of candy canes. I recieved this item with intentions of using at a holiday party and EVERY SINGLE CANDY STICK is broken into 4-5 pieces when i opened the box. They are absolutely crushed! And the item is not considered eligible for return. To say im upset doesnt quite describe. Not a single stick of peppermint candy is intact. What exactly is the point of buying this product I can buy crushed candy cane pieces for so much less.

Flavor is great, but literally 75% we completely broken- like not just in half- broken in 3 or more places. We bought them to sell as penny candy in our country store. We had to just give them out to our kids and family. Really frustrated

YUM!! I just received these addictive candy sticks & I'm very glad I got a whole box bcuz they're Delicious!! They're wonderfully flavorful & they're not just sugary. They are also nice & tart. I Love sour candy & these don't disappoint. I really can't say enough good things about these BlackBerry Candy Sticks. Highly recommend them. Sure a few are broken but I consider that a plus bcuz it saves my teeth from having to break off a chunk to chew on. That's my personal opinion. I'll definitely purchase these again. YUMMY!!

I am on a clove high!!!! I never understood why clove didn't make it to the top of the flavor chart. Fresh, sweet and spicy and I now have a 6 month supply:) If you are a clove lover this is the place to go to satisfy that clove yearning only another clove lover would understand:

Literally every SINGLE one is broken, often with 3+ breaks in each stick. All of them. Not one single piece made it. Granted, there was no protective packaging around the item whatsoever, but given how tightly packed they were in their box, it’s surprising that they’re so broken. It makes me suspect they were broken well before shipping. They smell AMAZING and taste great - but unless you want small pieces of candy, absolutely DO NOT purchase these.
