Had a jump starter that would not hold a charge. One day I figured I'd open it! It was a small battery inside! Took the info to Amazon and found this replacement!! Works Excellent!!

I'm using this battery in my Tripp Lite HT1000LCD. I used this same battery as a replacement 4 years ago and it's worked very well in that time. Once I get past 3 years on my UPS batteries, I'm prepared to replace them without any regrets or concerns.Though the battery costs a few dollar more than others in this V/ah rating, I believe it is worth that additional cost. Read the reviews of those other batteries, and the quality is all over the place. The Casil battery is consistently very good. Why fret over saving a few dollars if you may get a dud, headaches, and hassle in the process?Update 2/25/2025: Almost 4 years later, and it's time to replace. Again, very happy with Casil and will repurchase another.

I recently purchased two of these 12 volt rechargeable batteries, after placing the first one in a Monster RR270 speaker, with power off, placing the red clip on the positive terminal, then the black lead on the negative terminal, a small snap sound then a larger almost firecracker POP made me literally yank the power clips off the battery because even with the power off on the unit it blew a voltage capacitor and resister in my unit making it totally unusable because just under normal ac power now it starts smoking and putting off burnt circuit smell. The second battery will not hold a charge at all, even after being in my second Monster RR270 which is the only survivor of the pair I have or had, even putting the battery on a external charger states it is fully charged, but connecte it to the speaker and it dies within 2 seconds and will not hold a charge.

The battery on my Tripp Lite G1000UB UPS died, this is a perfect replacement. It’s the correct dimensions, slightly higher amp-hours and has correct F2 terminals. Ordered late Wed evening, arrived Fri afternoon, that’s fast considering it shipped from NJ and I live in Ca. Old battery lasted 2 years, let’s see how long this one lasts. Will update when it dies.
