Apalachicola (Images of America)

Very good book on the history of the town .

This was a beautifully done book with photos of historical Apalachicola and a bit about each one telling the history of the people or places depicted in the photograph. I loved the clarity of the pictures especially of the people in the old 1800's dresses. Some really magnificent buildings as well. Apalachicola in its heyday must have been some kind of place.The only thing I would suggest as a help would be to not buy it for your Kindle but to get the hard copy. The photos were not really large enough to view well and a Kindle makes it hard to page back and forth to review a photograph you want to look at again and again.It would make a wonderful coffee table edition for family and to show off to friends. Love the cover of the book as well.

Saw so many pictures and mentions of family. So much fun! Doing a family tree now and enjoying it so much.
