2011 Eden Canyon Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 750 mL

This is one of the best wines I have ever tasted. Highly recommended. Their customer service is excellent and it is a joy to deal with them.

The story seems interesting (planted from ashes etc etc) but the wine is all so very wrong. Picked up a bottle from Whole Foods today..waste of $35.If you've tasted a Cab bottle that's been open 3-4 days ...well that's what this taste's like...without getting into all the semantics.This wine lacks any smoothness and refinement ...(and no it's not that I don't like bold Cabs). If you want a bold Cab in this range I'd pick Roth. You could have a bold cab and have it a smooth too.Aged 26 months in French oak barrels apparently...but it doesn't seem to show that character. I've had cabs under $15 that are way better....and if you want a good strong cab for the money...try Groth, Grgich Hills or Roth.
