Greenlee30242 Repair 767 Packing Kit, 1-Pack

Bought this to replace the guts of a greenlee 767 that we use every day to punch holes for generator installations. Kit worked perfectly and greenlee works like it is brand new. Also bought greenlee oil from amazon and replaced that as well.

I bought this 30242 kit to rebuild a Greenlee 767 pump. I called Greenlee to determine exactly what kit I needed -- it's serial number dependent. The kit included everything I needed, including the V-packing rings, etc., for the 30241 follower. The pump works perfectly now. Note: When I called Greenlee they told me I would need both the 30242 and 30241 kits. So if you have the pump with the steel 30241 'follower', this kit (#30242) includes everything you need to rebuild it, i.e., the 2 V-packing rings, the bleed screw and its O-Ring. I will be returning the unused 30241 kit.

Our greenlee is extremely old, if I had to guess, 20 years plus.The little workhouse is a staple at our shop and we use it nearly daily to punch 20-12 ga stainless. The seals leaked awful and the fluid just ran out of every fitting.This kit (which came with a tool diagram and part listing) cured our tool, and made it just as good as new. It comes with every O-ring, seal, and check ball you need. It's a complete kit! Very pleased!

seems like the correct kit, everything but the V seals. As a foot note on the very back of the instructions there was a note saying, " When using this kit, the Follower 500 3336.0 must be replaced with 503 0241.8, as the 905 0731.2 "V" packing has been replaced by 905 3262.7 "V" packing and cannot be interchanged.I had to spend another $49 to purchase the new follower. This could have been said before I purchased. In fact, the follower and "V" seals is probably all I needed for repair. All of the other seals seam correct and will probably help performance.

Elecellent repair kit if you know what your doing with hydraulics because the schematic diagram is not for someone with no knowledge. Price is good

This kit had everything I needed except the follower cups did not fit my existing follower. In fine print on the instructions is a note telling you that the old follower must be replaced with the new style. Which I also had to purchase. I'm sure if I had a newer pump this problem would not have come up. Otherwise I would have rated it a 5.Good kit though and I would recommend it. Just check your serial numbers to see if you have to buy the new follower.

Every thing you need to repair the hand pump. Be sure to download a manual for the pump, so you'll have detailed diagrams of how the springs and balls are set.

Should up in time and it is the original manufacture kit, not a OEM knock off
