You can hear the fan noise which is annoying. If you buy it have is installed in an area that is away from daily activities.

The quality of videos from this product is two thumbs up for me. It has a great picture at night as well.

First of all, I have to write this for the record, the stupidest company I have ever dealt with is SWANN; it makes so because of its customer service, which is so horrible and unprofessional.When I reached out, stating the camera was not working, I was told to get tech help; the tech said to need a new camera after I had provided a photo and video from the feed. Now, the constant back and forth after giving the serial number to the tech was still being asked for the same stupid thing, then more was needed to cut the wire and provide a photo. What am I going to do with a camera that is not working? Please take it back; I don’t care, but while it was still working with blurry vision was providing security. You have me to cut the wire, leaving the sector vulnerable. Maybe think about the customer. Maybe ask to cut the wire after you have sent the replacement or ask for it to be sent after a replacement is received. No trust in customers shows a lack of trust in the company. I will assure you that wherever I can, I will insert a comment for SWANN with 1 star because that is the minimum I can go for.

Better picture quality but it seems to be lagging for motion detection. also this unit is VERY loud. I had it replaced by the vendor thinking I got a faulty unit and turns out that the new unit is as loud. I've been using Swann products for the past 12 year and I have bought and installed at least a dozen systems and this unit by far is the loudest. some of the motions lights dont seem to activate as they should and lately their TechSupport have been very un-responsive and cannot answer basic configuration questions, I feel like I know more than they do having used their products for so long. it definitely DOEST NOT feel like an upgrade from my previous 1080 system. Perhaps it's time to say good bye to Swann and go with another company.
