DC Men's Pure Xe Skate Shoe

I love them they fit perfectly and there a 100% real genuine D.C. Shoes!! I have been going back and forth on whether or not to return these shoes. I normally wear a 9.5M but based on some comments in the reviews, got 10M, a half size larger. I think they still might be too small. I might have to get the 10.5M especially if I used thicker altheltic socks than the ones I had on when I tried them on. The 10M still squeezed the widest part of my foot. I am wondering though if they will break in, get softer and stretch a little over time. The shoe is stiff and the padding in the sole is somewhat lacking. I have never had this brand before but the price was right. I will keep this shoe whether it is the 10M or the 10.5M just to try them out. The best I can recommend now is getting a half size larger for sure, and maybe a full size larger if you use thicker athletic socks or some sort of sole cushion.

We got these and another brand of skate shoe for our teen son. These took a little longer to come in, but he was very happy to come home from vacation to a new pair of shoes. The shoes fit nicely & he is satisfied with these. He quickly put them on and laced them up. He said they fit great. He mentioned they were a bit stiffer than his other new shoes, but it wasn't bothering him, more of just the way they fit and getting used to it. He was just wearing these today :). I'm glad to have found some shoes he likes and at a great price on Amazon! He's growing very fast recently & it's hard to keep him in shoes that fit & please him in style.

Pretty standard shoe - but a decent value for the price and they look good. Always risky with shoe sized on line. I normally wear a 10 in sneakers / shoes made in Asia / SE Asia - which these are - and they fit fine. Arch support is not horrible but again, pretty standard sneaker support which is just ok now but will likely compress and be less effective over time. For stylish / casual to wear with a pair of jeans etc., these are great. Maybe a touch on the "warm" side but again, nothing out of the ordinary for sneakers in this price range.

These are an amazing looking shoe. The materials and colors are perfect and I love how comfortable they are. They feel very sturdy and as if they will last a long time. My feet are very hard to fit shoes for, as some brands a 13 will fit while some brands a 15 is needed. I went ahead and tried a size 14 and they fit me pretty good. I have adequate toe space but the shoe could be a tad wider. That said, after wearing them for just a few days they seemed to start breaking in very well and I feel like it won't be an issue.Great shoe, very comfortable. Give it time to break in and you should be happy.NOTE: 45" laces will -not- be long enough to tie with this shoe.Would buy again. :)

I like this type of shoe for casual wear much more than running shoes, which I find clumsy and ugly. I have owned three pairs of DC shoes, all from Amazon. They are sturdy, hold up well, do not fall apart and are very slow to wear out. They are attractive and easy to keep clean. Be advised that they are a snug fit. My size is 9, but even 9.5 is snug. Next pair I will buy 10, although I have new bought size 10 shoes in my life. Because they are sturdy and not floppy, they also take a bit of breaking in. The materials are thick and solid, making them very durable, but also stiff for the first week or so. My opinion is that DC shoes are superior to any of the equivalents that I have owned or seen in stores.

Since I was ordering this product based on looks and didn't try this model on in person, I ordered both the 12 and the 13 since my foot is 12 1/2. It depends on the brand if a 12 or 13 fits. In this case, the 13 was too big, but the 12 felt it could become comfortable as it was overly snug at first. After giving the shoes some time to break in, they felt really good, except the sole on my left. Apparently, I have walked it down enough to let rain and snow soak my sock if I walk in it long enough. Other than that, I am pleased and did get a couple compliments when they were new and shiny with my checkered laces, but there's no excuse for the bottoms being worn so much in less than six months. Overall OK.

If you have a wider foot, they will tend to feel a bit narrow at first, but quickly loosen up as they break in. Very comfortable shoes. I wear them for both daily wear and skate boarding. This is my third pair and probably not my last (if they keep making them). They are pretty durable, but if you skate in them you will wear a hole in the bottom eventually, But that is what happens when soft rubber meets abrasive grip tape so no surprises there. I like the support across the top (above the ball of the foot) and the board feel with these shoes. Hiking shoes they are not, and probably not the best choice if you are on your feet all day, but they are plenty comfortable for general all day wear. I can definitely recommend DC shoes based on my experience with them.
