Not at all like parchment, but an improvement over copier paper
I use this paper for correspondence that requires a little dressing up, but still is created in MS Word on my PC and run off my Brother laser printer. This business-size stock is too large for handwritten correspondence; executive size is more appropriate for that. The manufacturer takes liberties to describe this paper as "natural parchment." In reality, it's a sort of mottled fine tan color. The color is not too dark to threaten readability of black type, but it is just dark enough and complex enough to set it apart from copier bond. It is not a heavy paper, and I would consider it too translucent for duplex printing (printing on both sides of the page). It does not jam my laser printer. The price is reasonable -- though I wouldn't say it's a bargain. Truly premium paper costs many times more and I own some of that, too. I use the premium paper for handwritten letters. But for a middling level of somewhat personalized correspondence (say, a letter to one's attorney), this paper will do nicely. On a final upbeat note, I'm in the process of ordering more.

Needs a BOX
I like this stationery. However, I think that it should be shipped in a box fitted to the stationery, as was always done in the past, not merely in plastic. They are skimping on a necessary ingredient here. A customer needs a form-fitting BOX to maintain the quality of the stationery over time, not a flimsy plastic sleeve. Other customers have written about this problem and I agree with them. DESKTOP PUBLISHING SUPPLIES, INC: PLEASE STOP SKIMPING AND PROVIDE A BOX!!!

The perfect parchment paper
I am handcrafting about 40 invitations for my daughters Baby shower. I'm here because having someone print this few has an outrageous price tag. I settled on this parchment paper. The paper is 24lb. Bond Blue parchment paper with a matte finish. The color is perfect ,the texture exactly what I want ,and the overall thickness of the paper stock is just fine. I did not want anything too heavy because it would not fold up nicely in the envelopes that also came with the order. Anytime one orders online you're never quite sure what you're going to get in terms of color shading or quality. In this case the items were spot on with their description and I couldn't be happier and yes, I would order this item again from Desktop Publishing.

Paper and envelopes, that's all
This is fairly run-of-the-mill paper, not fancy stationery. The color is a very light blue---at first glance you might not even notice the tint---and it does not show a pronounced parchment pattern as shown in the picture on the website. The paper is lightweight with no texture, and the envelopes are unlined. This is just a step above regular white copy paper and office-store envelopes. I keep a variety of papers, notecards, and envelopes on hand for my personal correspondence, but won't be a repeat buyer of this product. The value is poor for what is essentially plain paper and envelopes.

A Superb Product!
I ordered and used the blue parchment paper and envelope set to make our wedding invitations. The paper was of good quality. I used an HP inkjet printer to print on both sides with no bleed through. It fed very well into the printer with no jams or issues. The ink dried quickly with no hint of smudging or smearing. I used a paper cutter to cut the invitations to size and the paper cut cleanly with no ripping or tearing. I am extremely pleased with this product and gladly give it a 5 star rating!

This paper out-papers other paper
Contrary to anything you’ve heard on the Internet this paper is made of wood. I know right, the wonders of the post-industrial age. We live in amazing times. Also, love the bond and the paper absorbs ink well. Looks nice. I guess it meets all the paper world specs for good paper, not a paperologist, so probably does. Looks nice, good color, makes me want to write stuff. What else do you need from paper?

Beautiful stationary especially for fountain pen ink!
This stationary is a perfect color for that old world feel. I was concerned if it would take fountain pen ink well and I was more than pleased to find out it didn’t bleed at all, it had no waxy or chemically coating that would’ve prevented the ink from taking to the paper and it did not bleed through to the other side of the paper which makes it fine if want to write on both sides of a sheet. Bonus, the envelope made from the same paper took the wax seal perfectly. This is just the set you’ve been searching for!

Good quality!
I had wanted to buy some old-looking stationary to use with my wax seal kit, but most of the ones I saw either had very over-exaggerated stain designs and/or were not good quality when it came to writing on them with pens or using wax on them. I carefully pored over reviews and ended up trying these, which even came with the matching envelopes! Not only are they exactly what I wanted, simple aged-looking paper, but they had no trouble whatsoever standing up to my wax seal kit 👊🏻
