Thin MDF? covered with plastic laminate. Handy having retractable hanger and is fine for my needs, hopefully board won't twist or warp (time will tell). Handy coming in pack of 4 but expensive for what they are.

The product is as good as it appears from the images (which often isn’t the case when buying on line) and is very robust. I use this for measured house surveys, for clipping my a4 survey sheets to, and it has worked very well. There is a very fine texture to the grained surface which is quite nice, and it doesn’t cause a problem when drawing lines or writing through one sheet of paper. The corners are nicely rounded and finished and although the clip is fairly standard it simply does the job it’s supposed to.

Clips well, looks smart, but the surface isn't completely flat because of the wood effect so when you write on it, it's bumpy. Solved by clipping an extra one or two sheets of paper under the one you are working on.

Looks great and very solid. Chosen because they are not plastic and have exceeded my expectations! Better for environment! Prompt delivery
