For the love of donuts, have an extra person help
Got these last night, unwrapped the packaging to find a cute little illustration of happy pets getting their claws capped.... LIES. My cat was PISSED. Like drooling on me, I can feel the hate coming out of her, she’s definitely going to kill me in my sleep for sure this time, kind of hatred. If your cat is difficult and murderous like mine, it would be much easier with two people... this being said I did not have two people as my lovely boyfriend retreated to a safe two hour distance away from the blood bath. After gluing a couple of the caps to myself and several fingers together, I managed to get them on to said cat. They survived the night and will hopefully add a few months of life to my couches! I’ll be buying them again if she doesn’t kill me first...

Cat doesn't hate them
As a preface, I don't know much about cats- what I do know is from the Tiger King himself; Joe Exotic. As a first time indoor cat enthusiast, I was hesitant about having my furniture clawed up. I called the vet to have him declawed, and evidently that isn't cool anymore and it negatively impacts the quality of life of the animal and is pretty painful with a lengthy healing process. The vet then recommended these cat paw things so I ordered them and took the cat to have the vet install for me. About $20.Now admittedly, he walked funny and tried to bite them off for about an hour or so after we got home, but has been fine since. I bought the 80 pack and will reorder when I get low. The vet recommended that I bring him back in after about 6 weeks because that'll be about the time to trim his nails and put new ones on.Please note this review is NOT fake news, and I will edit if there ends up being any catastrophic deficiencies as times goes on.

Great Purchase
We have a really big male cat with huge claws and he was shredding rugs and carpet! These work wonderfully! He's still able to do the motion with no damage. Make sure you clip the tip of the nail first though!

Be careful...it can burn.
Some fall off quickly and others have lasted a long time. I guess it depends on how much glue I used. My one big issue is that after the second use of the tube of glue I accidentally squeezed some out into my pants leg. It smoldered and burned my leg. I also got some on my finger that burned as well. Now before I put a cap on with the glue I feel it before I use it on the cats to make sure I'm not burning them.

Easy to put on.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It's like putting on my press on's so I enjoyed doing it! It wasn't stressful or a long process. I gave our cat a bath and did them while he was drying in my son's arms.

Great idea
good thing you get a lot of them. I have a small cat aprox. 10-12lbs and is 4yrs old now. She can still manage to get one off every now and then. Maybe have to put 2-4 back on weekly. And we think we use a little more than a fair amount. Other than that the protect my new furniture and carpet. Fun to play with them. My other cat is 8yrs old and is 15-17lbs. These work great on her. 1-2 replaced bi-weekly. I would defintaly recommend these to anyone that has children, nice furniture/carpet, or just to play more with the cats without the little scratches.

Will buy again
Have cycled through several sizes and brands of claw caps. These are fine. Like the single color option with plenty of glue & applicators.

Pretty easy to put on
I love these. I’m trying them so I don’t have to front declaw my baby, Apollo, my cat. It’s a little difficult to see how much glue you put in the cap but I got the hang of it pretty quick. 1st set is starting to come off, After a week, I believe cause I didn’t put enough adhesive in. I replace them as they come off. Someone holds him for me and he really didn’t seem to mind, too much.

strong adhesive
My cat doesn't like them being put on but I got a cat restraint hopefully that works
