Great stability, support, & shock absorption!
I bought these sneakers for running. I usually do between 1 to 6 miles/run a few times a week. This is actually my second pair. I purchased my first pair after having my stride analyzed at a running store. My feet pronate (roll in) and these are supportive with a wider base for stability. While I prefer to trail run, I usually do a couple miles on the street. I’m in my 40s and appreciate the shock absorption these provide. I have not had any issue wearing these running on sandy trails with tree roots and hills. If you are looking for a lightweight unstructured shoe, these are NOT for you. Additionally the wider base is not conducive to climbing rock walls. I know that may not be relevant for most people, but figured it was still worth mentioning (it cost me bragging rights on a family vacation because I couldn’t get a decent toe hold!).My first pair are now my “walking around” sneakers. I actually think the stability and cushioning is overkill for casually walking, and would prefer something more sleek & nimble, but that’s just my personal preference. After about a year using this style for running, my knees, feet, & spine are still happy & functional, so that is probably the best testament I could give!

No stiff shank in the footbed
I bought these saucony guide10 shoes as a replacement for my older Saucony guide 10 shoes that were tired from lots of use. The original shoes were my go to shoes because of foot issues I have. They were comfortable when no other shoes were. Fast forward to this week when my podiatrist had me bring in all my shoes to see if they were causing the current horrible flare of plantar fasciitis, and to my surprise he told me to get rid of the replacement guide 10s and to keep the old tired pair of guide 10s. Turns out Saucony removed the shank from the newer ones; he could twist it like a pretzel. The older pair had a stiff shank that supports the food bed and tames the plantar fasciitis The very part of the shoe that made spending well over $100 per pair, and kept me coming back as a customer, is what they removed. I will not buy Saucony anymore.

I've been running for about 8 years and in the past 4 years have worn the Saucony Cohesion, replacing them about every year or so. When my shoes get old my hips and knees begin to ache after a run. I also recently developed mild planters fasciitis and a small bone spur. I had a foot scan and found that I have mild to moderate pronation so I ordered the Saucony Guide 10 for the mild to moderate pronation. I wear them with a Dr. Scholl's insert to eliminate the pain in my heel while my foot heals. They are springy and comfy and I wear them when I know I'll be walking around a lot and I am, unbelievably, pain free! We'll see how they do when I begin running again.

Good improvement
Been wearing this style from Saucony over 15 years, before the Guide it was called Jazz. I almost switched to a new brand when my last 3 pairs wore a hole on the top mesh by my toe. I called saucony and I was told they corrected this issue with the 10. This is my second pair since after wearing the 10 for over 4 months they did not wear through so I bought it again. Love this fit, I am an over-pronator and need the high arch that this style has. These get very heavy use and they wear very well on the soles as well as inside.

Wonderful running/walking shoes.
I love these sneakers! Very comfortable! I can walk all day with these Saucony sneakers. The colors are nice and bright. Very light on my feet and supports my ankles beautifully. I walk 2 - 3 miles 5 times a week and these shoes are perfect for it. The only thing to remember about the Saucony Women's Guide is to get a half a size larger than your usual shoe size. I'm a size 7 wide but with these shoes you need to get a half a size larger (7.5 W). Otherwise, it will be a tight fit. I learned this several years ago and I have bought several Saucony Women's Guide shoes in the past. I've had better luck getting a half a size larger than my usual size. Anyway, I am very happy with these shoes.

Lots of variability -- buyer beware!
Based on other reviews, I first ordered a 1/2 size up (9.5 M) and found they fit just like my other Saucony running shoes (snug heel, wide toe box, slightly shorter than the same size in Asics). But since I'd ordered a 1/2 size up, they were too big. So I ordered my usual size -- and got a much different fit! The length and width were right, but the heel was extra snug and the toe box was so shallow my toes touched the top fabric. Also, the laces were really short, not really enough to tie a bow if you use the extra grommets, and the left shoe was a slightly different color than the right, with a narrower band of reflective material at the base of the laces. Counterfeit goods? FWIW, the "good" Sauconys were grey/teal sold through Final-Score Athletics and the dodgy ones were blue and came through Amazon.com, LLC.

Injury
I've worn Saucony Guide for years and have run several marathons and half marathons with no problem. I don't know what changed with the 10, but I am now dealing with a nasty plantar fasciitis in both feet without having changed anything but my shoes. I love the guide, but am very hesistant to buy them again if they continue to give me grief. They also showed rapid wear/developed holes in the toes after only 150 miles, where my other pairs have 300+ miles with no holes. Saucony-please fix this!!

These shoes have changed for the worst
I've been buying Saucony guides for as long as I've been running (7 years or so) and this is the first time I've been so disappointed. I bought the same size I always buy (10.5) and they were so small!! They also felt incredibly hard and the toe box seemed much smaller so I didn't bother buying another pair- I just returned them. I went with Asics gel kayano instead and they are so much more comfortable for my feet!

I can't really rate the product as I wasn't able to use it, but I can say beware to other buyers as I am normally a 3 and sometimes a 3 and a half. The 3 and a half in this was way too tight and too short. Also, be careful what company you use as I was not reimbursed for my postage both ways. Check the returns policy carefully. I thought I would at least get the initial postage back, so I've ended up paying an additional £7 for nothing.

Nice trainers
Very comfy, but have put an insole in, as I have plantar fasciitis. Buy at least half a size bigger, otherwise it won't fit. I have a wider than average foot; lengthwise it's fine but, in terms of width, half a size bigger will fit the foot better. Highly recommended.

Great, but choose a bigger size
These are great, look good and are very comfortable. Having now worn them I wish I had got half a size bigger - they'll do me for the gym and walking but not for running as my toes hit the front of the shoe.

This is my fourth pair in this brand however this type are not as comfy as my other pairs. A little disappointed as I love this brand for running and I have come to have high expectations from these shoes.

Excellent running shoe
Really good support. Lovely to have a pain free run. They do come up a little small so maybe go for 1/5 a size up. Excellent shoe will definitely be buying saucony again.
