Kuhn Rikon Colori+ Paring Knife, 4", Red

These are the most sharpest and lightweight knives I have yet to own. It does the cutting swiftly without drag or food sticking to the blade. Much superior than the Kyocera ceramics or the German made knives I have owned. I cook every day so my knives really take a beating. I don't put these or any knives in the dishwasher and care for them by hand drying and putting them back in the plastic sleeve that comes with the knife. The paring knife is great for cutting chives or small fruits like kiwi. I have also used it to slice up small chunks of cooked meat and chicken. I highly recommend these knives.

When I ordered this, I did not realize it is an exact twin to one we already had. The green color compliments the red one we have. It is literally "sharp as a knife". Our previous one is about 2 years old and never gets dull or chipped. I believe this new one will be exactly the same. Recommend it highly.

Great value. Won’t rust if it sits in water. Nice and sharp. Don’t know how long the sharpness lasts but I’ve had it and used it frequently for a few months and it still works well.

Like others have said, the quality has gone down. Handle too short and balance is off. Returned.

Can't beat these little khun rikons, particularly for the price. I keep losing them at work and keep buying replacements because I love them. Always reccomend.

This my favorite go to knife. I use it everyday for fruits & vegetables. I have even bought this knife for small gifts for my friends. They love it too.

This knife is perfect for me. I am disabled and my hands are weak and I have trouble cutting using the regular kitchen knives most restaurants provide... especially pizza places. Salads are also hard to cut and I'm tired of having to have my wife cut my food for me. So, I bring this wonderful knives with me when we go out to eat. It is very lightweight, sharp and easy to use. The color keeps it from looking threatening.

I have been very impressed with this paring knife. The knife feels robust and built to last which is further emphasised by the 2 year guarantee provided with the product.I purchased this to take on holiday as needed something to chop up fruit for my 10 month old. This was perfect as it was a nice size and had a cover included. I have been impressed with the sharpness of this knife and would recommend it.Overall very pleased with this product.

A superb knife, just the right size & ok in the dishwasher - could'nt ask for more - yes the paint comes off the blade but, - the colour cant go all teh way through on a decent knife can it ! It sharpens excellently also ...

I've had a Kuhn Rikon serrated paring knife for years and it's been a brilliant go-to knife. I thought I'd order another one, as you can never have enough good kitchen knives.Having received the new knife I couldn't work out why it seemed so much more difficult to use than my original - until I examined the blade. I then realised that the new one I'd been sent has a 'left-handed' blade. Looking at the image on the website, I can now see that the knife sent is a mirror image of the picture (the serration grinding and the printing is on the opposite side of the blade to the one in the photo), and of my original.I've checked the packaging, and no mention of the handing of the knife.I've also looked at the Kuhn Rikon website, and no mention of the knives being available in a choice of right or left handed - although interestingly they include a YouTube link showing a left handed man using a left-handed knife (perhaps they're missing a marketing trick there)???I now have increased sympathy for the challenges left handed folk must have when using right handed knives! Perhaps I will have to gift this one to one of my left handed friends.

This just what I was after for my lunch bag for cutting my apple, nice sheath with it as well. the blade is sharp and the knife is comfortable to hold. Good value for money.

Love this knife! It is brilliant and cuts through most things with little effort, including butternut squash, pineapple and large potatoes. It is not a big knife, but it does the job well and I won't need another smaller knife at all. The colours are great too, as I am a vegetarian so I always know which ones are mine and no mixing up with the meat eaters in the house! I will definitely be buying some different sizes in the future.
