Rothco Canvas Medical Equipment Bag

I'm able to fit all my supplies/instruments/equipment that I need for PA school. Good quality. No holes or stitching issues.The 6 compartments on the outside really help separate my items (penlight, reflex hammer, tuning forks, test tubes, measuring tape, cotton swabs, cotton balls, etc). The 2 medium pockets come in handy as well that will fit anything that's too large for the outer compartments but might get lost in the main compartment. For the main compartment, I usually keep my stethoscope, shorts and gown (for lab), a sheet (for lab), and my opthalmoscope/otoscope. I still have space to fit things into here.It won't fit a 15" laptop or a regular sized textbook but can definitely fit 2-3 pocket sized reference books if you so desire.I like it especially since it stands out from all the other medical equipment bags that look boring, original, mediocre, or too expensive.Minor negatives:It can be difficult to remember what you put in which outer compartment since there are 6 of them (you might want to mark them or use an identifier in some way).The bag smells of "fabric chemicals" when you first take it out of the plastic bag, but it goes away after about a week or so, not a big deal.Major Negative: Shoulder straps don't stay in the position that you set them to. They slide out to the longest length as you carry it on your shoulder with the weight of the bag's contents.

I ordered this to replace my army surplus medics bag that I had used as a purse for years. I just assumed that this was the same thing. Boy, was I wrong. It looks okay but the quality is not there at all. The stitching for the outside pockets started pulling away almost immediately. The weight of the fabric is not the same. It's just not the real thing. It's not a horrible imitation but it's not authentic army issue.

I bought this bag for my son to hold his pistols and equipment when he goes for shooting practice. It's multiple pockets separate the various ammo and there is plenty of room for him to carry a few handguns as well. It is such a handy bag for the price that I have decided to order another to hold a travel first aid kit.

Do not buy this. After a week of using it, I gave it away. The shoulder straps comes loose

I purchased this bag for my car. Since I'm a nurse, this bag has a very spacious inside that holds my stethoscope, blood pressure cuffs, magazines, plugs for my PSP, etc.The six compartments (3 on each side) is big enough to hold different things. What I did was mark each side of the pouch with a picture so I know what's what.For instance, I drew a picture of a "Super Mario Brothers Mushroom" to indicate that my PSP or Nintendo DS is in that slot".The bag is sturdy and it can take a lot of punishment if you are on the go like me. What do you expect? It's a military bag! This bag is for the win!

I bought this for a Halloween costume. I love it as a travel bag. All those pockets with snaps! It makes my heart jump with joy!

Plenty of pockets, has two large cargo areas behind each of the two rows of magazine/gear pockets. A bit floppy, but I installed some snaps to keep the cargo areas closed, the velcro tabs didn't hold. This would be a much better product if the snaps were installed by the mfr. OTT, materials/construction OK.
