KEENWomen's Targhee 3 Mid Height Waterproof Hiking Boot

The fit is spot on with a nice wide toe (US woman's 7), waterproof. Comfortable from day one, no wearing in needed. I have a pair of the walking/tramping shoes but felt I needed the tramping boot for better stability around the ankles on some trails/Tracks. Fabulous, great durability. This is my third pair of Keens and I'd highly recommend them.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I bought them for hiking on damp mornings and in wetlands. They’re perfect for that - warm, dry and very stable. But, after less than a week of owning them, I want to wear them everywhere all the time. (So much so that just went ahead and ordered another pair of keens with a low top.) It did take a me a few days to adjust to the higher top as I usually don’t wear a mid-top shoe - but needed one for hiking during foliage as it get slippery out there - but the insoles were perfect from day one. Can’t say enough great things about the design - that wide toe box PLUS heel lock is real so you don’t feel like you’re sliding all around inside them or have to tighten the laces as far in as they go as happens in the some other zero-drop wide toe box shoes.

There are so comfy! I have a real problem with needing a wide foot bed and these really accommodate my funky shaped foot. (Bunion, hammer toes, etc). I haven’t worn them in the rain yet so not sure how waterproof yet, but a great start!

The treads on the soles do not provide adequate traction on these specific surfaces, leading to a lack of grip and potential for slipping. Ask me how I know, LOL...

I purchased these before our Rockie mountain hiking vacation and I am not disappointed at all. I wore these daily for long hikes in the Rockie mountains and they held up great and are comfortable. I did test them in the water and they did well for that also, great support and they are easy to walk in.

Comfortable right out of the box. Wore a lot on a cross country road trip in many National Parks. Lots of walking and hiking. Feet didn't get cold or hot and sweaty. Wore on motorcycle rides and wind didn't go thru. Perfect hiking boots.

EDIT:Once I notified Keens of the poor quality of these boots and submitted a warranty claim with copious photos, they gave me a credit for a new pair from their website directly. The credit was for more than $50 over my original price.I ordered and received the new boots in less than a week and though they are the newer iteration of the Targee model, they are definitely an upgrade. Much thicker material, actual real leather, where the other ones cracked. I'm cautiously optimistic. I wanted to give the whole story, hence the edit. I do feel it's safe to trust them if they continue to stand by their product.At first glance (and wear) these boots were amazing! Fit perfectly right out of the box, no breaking in at all!Problem is over time, only 5 months, and just 3 miles every day, they’re cracking and leaking. Definitely not waterproof any more.I do not recommend this brand, such a shame.

So comfortable had no problem breaking them in. They run slightly big but I am happy is stuck with my usual size. Great grip and ankle stability and I love how the tongue is built in

Lightweight but sturdy. Provide great ankle support and arch support. I have flat feet and the insole provided is very comfortable. Fits perfectly as an 8 wide while wearing cushioned hiking socks.

Ces chaussures pour le prix sont de très bonne qualité , par contre, elle taille beaucoup trop grand.Je les ai commandés pour ma femme et même avec ses semelles orthopédiques, elles sont trop grandes .Moi qui fais du 42 2/3 en les essayant, je les trouve légèrement grandes il faut prendre une pointure en dessous.Au vu de la qualité, je renvoie celle-là , et vais commander la taille en dessous pour ma femme

Bin schon lange auf der Suche nach ordentlichen Schuhen gewesen. Auf Empfehlung dann auf diese hier gekommen. Passen in Breite und Höhe perfekt. Selbst mit orthopädischen Einlagen super zu tragen. Wasserdichtigkeit ist top und im Gelände sind sie auch super. Sitzen stabil am Fuss. Nicht zu schwer,halten im Winter die Füsse warm. Trage die Schuhe jetzt seit knapp 5 Monaten und möchte sie nicht mehr missen.
