Wrong part sent not as purchased and did not work.

Identical to the original supplied with the disc drives. My major criticism is that the wires are rather flimsy, hence the necessity for a replacement unit. Bar that, my old unit has been in constant use for several years and has been completely trouble free, so I cannot really complain!! The single Jack plug into the disc drive is not the normal type of charger connection used in newer electrical equipment, hence the necessity for me to purchase from a specialist supplier. At £5.99 and return of post service this is probably acceptable in terms of cost/benefit. The snag is £3.99 postage. I am sure a good compatible unit could be purchased from an electrical store, thus saving postage. However, living in a remote region it was worth my while paying postage in order to get my disc drive operative again! I can certainly recommend the vendor and it is a personal choice of postage over convenience. I have little doubt the replacement charger will outlive the disc drives!!! For anyone with older equipment requiring this type of connector this will probably save you a good deal of shoe leather and hassle, and may give older equipment a bit longer shelf life!!
