My cat absolutely hates this with a passion I previously thought him incapable of expressing.
From my perspective: Fits well. I bought the small and medium because he's about 8 pounds and either one fits, but the smaller one fits him best. Seems sturdy enough and it didn't break the bank, plus it's camo! Great for a beginner adventure kitty, right? He seemed to know it was for him when I pulled it from the box and rubbed it a little. Then I, with apparent malice aforethought and harboring secret dreams of destroying his autonomy placed it on him and velcroed him up. I put him on his feet and he splatted to the ground on his side. We were in for a test of wills. He spent some time deciding if I meant him fatal harm and came to the incorrect conclusion that I did mean to kill and probably eat him, even though there was never any clue he felt that way until now. With his belly touching the ground he bolted about 10 feet and then it looked like he was wrestling an imaginary dragon, Mehmet I assume. It may be that the red dragon helped him get out of the harness, because get out he did, then moved under a car. Hilarity ensued. Finally caught and (omg) hissing at me he took a deep breath to make it more difficult to harness him, but I had learned the way of the horse many years ago and I just waited for him to blow. The satisfying "Chhh" of applying velcro was the last sound he ever heard before his autonomy was ripped away and he became rigid, thus falling to the ground. I am sure with time, and great patience will come total compliance with my wishes, after all he is but a house cat. From the cat's perspective: "Hey what's that thing is it a toy for me?" Rubs face on it - I want this. Get picked up, a concealing, possibly warm thing being draped over me. Nice. A new cat blanket maybe? Then "chhh" and my neck freedom is severely hindered. Oh, I do not like this (shakes head and shoulders) What the F- are you doing? Don't attach the other velcro, (violent wiggling) you mother- Awww. Now I. Don't. Have the. Autonomy. To stand. (falls sideways). It is if I am without the use of my extremities and - ohh I am not getting air, omg I'm not getting air, "Holy - I'm going to die. You murderer!" Pass out briefly from lack of snacks then instantly bolt under a car like a friggin ninja! "What's - wh" (flips ends at the end of leash). "Sorcery! Imaginary dragon you're my only friend now, you have to help me get out of this trap before I suffocate." (Massive Struggling)"Ah thank you dragon, I would offer you my firstborn, but fear that I shall never conceive a child.""Do not worry about it my friend as I am an imaginary dragon. The power to escape was always within you"Owner snags me when I was talking to Mehmet, starts re attaching the harness. "I'll inhale and puff myself up so he can't make it fit". Oh this was a great idea, he's having trouble getting the belly strap - aw, what's he doing. He's...waiting. What, why wait? Just try again and give up, that's your path. He knew I was going to hold my breath, he's a WITCH."(looking at me) "Notice my eyes are wide open right now, as I am giving you no assurance of not killing you in your sleep tonight. You have to sleep sometime, you have to get on the toilet sometime and you will never see it coming. I mean, thanks for the treat...oh yes, quite yummy. Now what were you on about?

Comparable to Kitty Holster
I used to have a Kitty Holster cat harness which I liked very much but I feel their price is way too high. After trying less expensive harnesses of other styles that never fit my cat correctly I bought this one because it looked very similar to the KH harness. I am very pleased. It fit her extremely well and gave her very good range of motion. For anybody that would like to compare it to the kitty holster harness I would say that this one does have thicker material but unless you're in an extremely hot area I don't see why that would be a problem. Very pleased with my choice and highly recommend.

Cat’s Favorite Harness
I’ve been using a Kitty Holster brand harness for a few months, and recently tried this one. My cat likes it better, she doesn’t complain as much when I put it on, and she moves better in it. The velcro straps are strong but not hard to undo. Its well-made and so cute. Love from Kiki!

Purrrrrfect for medium to short-haired cats
I have two cats. The one in the picture with the two vests, Caoimhe, weighs about 13 lbs. The little cat, Mealla, weighs about 5 lbs. I had searched and searched for a harness for Caoimhe and was so pleased with it that I got another for Mealla. It took C. a while to get used to it and there was some wrestling in the process, to be expected. I love the wide, super strong Velcro bands that I can adjust around their chests and necks as tightly as needed. Neither cat has been able to wiggle their way out of the vests faster than I can get to them first. But these instances were during the initial wearings.Mealla, the little one, has medium/long hair and I winced as I realized that some of her fur was getting trapped between the Velcro strips. She's new to this, so I'm hoping that as she gets more relaxed with the process, I'll be able to fit the Velcro more carefully. The issue with the long hair is why this harness gets 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I am SO happy that I can treat my fur babies to fresh air, sunshine, and exploring the outdoors.A tip: when you first start using the vest and leash, stay close to your car so that the leash is lax. You will be better able to see how well it fits and make adjustments as needed. A tight leash, especially if your car is straining against it, can potentially make escaping easier for your cat. Finally, if your cat is not microchipped, get that done first before going outside with it. A collar with a tag and bell are also recommended, but not so much for super little ones who need to hide and run without attracting attention to themselves and would most certainly not survive a fight for their lives with another animal.

it looks like he should have the freedom of movement to jump ...
It looks very cute but I did struggle with the sizing. My cat is quite big, 5kg, but he is not huge, he's a normal weight for his size and even the largest harness doesn't fit him properly around the chest... I can't do up the velcro bit because the strap is too short but I can use the clip to secure it so it works ok! My cat is a bit weird about it, he seems unable to jump when he's wearing it, it looks like he should have the freedom of movement to jump but simply thinks he can't? Or is too uncomfortable? It's quite funny to watch anyway and this is totally dependent on the cat, I'm sure other cats could be fine. The harness was all one pattern (the blue polka dots) as you can see from the photo, it didn't have the zig-zag section described on other reviews.

Best cart harness I have tried
We have recently moved and our new house is less cat secure than our previous one and I have been concerned that our Sherlock might get lost or run over so tried several leads and harnesses before settling on this one. It is relatively easy to secure him in to it and the bright pink colour means if the lead somehow got separated from the harness, I should be able to spot him. However, I will say that he is not at all keen on it but at least it means until he gets used to his new surroundings, he can go out for a walk and I don't have to worry. In terms of sizing, I bought both the medium and the large. He does fit the medium but he fluffs his body out so I cannot do the clasp up under his tummy so I have taken to using the large one (which is meant for a small dog) so that I can get it round his body.

Decent harness
The media could not be loaded. Our cat hadn’t worn a harness since he was a kitten but took to this really well. We needed a harness as we had moved from our previous house with a small enclosed garden which the cat was used to, to a much larger and more open garden, with plenty of routes to escape. We took our cat out on the harness regularly to walk round the garden and get used to the smells and sounds of his new home. It really helped him cope with the change and build confidence before we let him out on his own. He kicked up a little bit of fuss when we put it on or took it off but was absolutely fine with it on. We got the large and it just about fitted our 5kg cat.

Easy to customize fit and strong velcro
Although when I ordered, the XS was still too big for my kitten (see photo) he has since grown into it and with fairly consistent clicker training, he's comfortable wearing it around the house. Even when it was too big, I was able to put it on him to get him comfortable wearing it. We've not processed to the leash yet, but he's finally getting big enough that I will start on indoor leash training soon. The harness is easy to put on as it is only 2 velcro straps and it stays on well. The strap under the chin is a bit large for kittens, but with how fast they grow it becomes a good size quickly. The velcro is very strong and my cat hasn't been able to get out of it, though he hasn't really tried. The first few times he wore it he walked very funny, but with clicker training and treats he's become very comfortable moving around in it.

Sturdy and pretty at the same time
3rd time lucky! After ordering 2 other harness from a different brand, I tried the Yizhi in despair and it was by far the best I got. I ordered the navy one first as tried to find a big one for my big boy (5.5kg) and the L one just fitted perfectly while keeping him well safe. The dog harness were not good as were always too big at the neck. Now my cat is 6k and it still fit as it is adjustable at the body waist but no more much room so if my cat is getting bigger I can always get the XL one which has now been added. As I was well pleased, I also got the pink one for my little girl. Got the L also even if she is only 3kg2 and again it was fine as adjustable with scratches at the neck and waist and it will give her plenty of room to grow into.
