Comes with the rubber shoe installed, can be removed revealing a sharper metal tip for surfaces that need it.Very easy to retract or extend with just two clasps. Cork lookalike handle has a nice grip and rubberyness to it.I still can't get over how lightweight the whole thing is. Will be great for hiking when I travel.

Pros- Lightweight.- Easily collapsible for storage/travel.- Easy height adjustment.- Comfortable grip.Cons- As another reviewer said, they should include some rubber, slip-on tips. I use the Walker as a cane, with a rubber tip indoors so as to not scratch floors. Finding tips that fit, are durable, and easy to install/remove was a shopping challenge.- I removed the grip strap. I didn't figure out how to use it properly. It mostly just got in the way.

Very sturdy. I initially thought it was defective because when I extended the bottom section the lock wouldn't hold it in place. I adjusted the locking lever twice and it still wouldn't hold then I discovered that the bottom section is slightly tapered and has to be fully extended to lock. Then length adjustment is managed with the middle section. An odd (to me) way to design it but once you realize that it does work.

Really nice and compact with the expected Komperdell quality. This will fit easily in my carryon. So nice to see that some things are not made in China.

I love this walking stick. My son-in-law sent it to me when I was awaiting a knee replacement. it is lightweight, has a rubber tip that give it some stability on wood floors or outside. It folds down so you can carry it with you easily. I always check the locking mechanism for safety, but have never had a problem. You can order alternative tips or use a pick on the end during the icy seasons. Great for walking or hiking.
