Saved SyncMaster from the Recycle Bin
This repair kit arrived early, ahead of the earliest estimated delivery date. The replacement capacitors restored the monitor normal operation, as advertised. The only thing missing was instruction for opening this specific monitor - the demonstration video only shows another monitor with a different catch system. The front (having little catch protrusions) overlaps the back (having rectangular holes that the catches slip into). Insert thin, stiff prying tool over the back and under the front and pry the front up to release the catch. Spacing between catches is irregular. Also, release of the assembly housing the power supply is tricky. A thin shield at one end has to be pried up to release catches and then wires can be unplugged to allow turning over the housing to expose the circuit board.

Worked for me!
Great repair kit!Make sure to keep track of how you opened up your monitor so you can reattach the connections properly. Replaced all of the capacitors and fuses provided in the kit and have now resurrected my old Samsung like new!For those wondering if this might work for you, my monitor had the "classic" symptom of showing a very, very faint image when powered on. According to many sites out on the internet, this is commonly due to bad capacitors, but whatever it was, this kit did the trick!

Did the trick
I was having the typical black screen problem and eventually power cycling the monitor no longer solved it. This kit did the trick. Even though only 3 of my capacitors showed bulging at the top, I used all the capacitors provided in this kit.NOTE: You WILL need to have soldering skills (and your own tools) to use this.

but my monitor has better response and greatly reduced optical artifacts than it did ...
Worked perfectly. Instructions were correct and concise. It could be my imagination, but my monitor has better response and greatly reduced optical artifacts than it did when even new. Highly recommended.

I followed up the instruction. It didn't work for me. I don't know if this is false ad or I did wrong.
