The Beast

When I was ten years old I was very much into the Goosebumps books. R.L. Stein came out with this book. I am from Michigan so I grew up hearing about King's Island and The Beast, however, I had never been there. My family was pretty poor at the time we went to Cedar Point one time and that was because my Dad got discounted tickets through his job. I had dreamed of riding The Beast though. This book seemed to connect with me and it quickly became my favorite R.L Stein book. I borrowed it from my school library and eventually bought from the school bookfair. I have read this book flap to flap many times. As I got older though the book had gotten misplaced and when we finally moved the book had gotten lost. Now my eleven year old is getting into the Goosebumps books. Previously I had bought a twenty book box set of the original classics. That's when I decided to look this up and amazingly, I found it! I just got it today and since my son's still reading a Night Of The Living Dummy book, I decided I'd read this. I'm having a hard time putting it down. As I'm reading it in being flooded with memories from when I was a kid. It has definitely taken me back and I'm loving it. I will not let this one go. Twenty Seven years later, I still haven't been to King's Island. Responsibilities and distance have always played a role in it. However, now we live in Ohio so my wife and I decided that this is the year we go. It's our mission. I'm finally going to ride The Beast!

Its so cool I love it I would recommend it to roller coaster lovers it reminds me of the beast irl right after it closes and there done testing you can sometimes hear it running so me and my friends went to see what the neck is going on and the opperater was running it for other operators what the heck but anyways it was SUPER SUPER COOL100000000000000/10 stars

As someone who works at Kings Island, I couldn’t not get this book. I am a huge fan of The Beast ride and see it everyday. When I found out there was a book based on The Beast and Kings Island, I had to buy it.It’s obviously a quick read and meant for a much younger audience, but I enjoyed it and so did my 10 year old daughter.

Great condition for a 30 year old book that was one of my favorites growing up. Thank you!

I had this when I was young. It was amazing to have a copy of the book now that I’m an adult. It was in great shape.

I remember reading this book as a kid, and decided I wanted to share it with my now 9 yr old son. Checked the library and inter-library loan program through our library and could not find this book anywhere. I know you can buy just about anything from a 3rd party seller on Amazon, and decided I didn't mind buying a used copy. The book came and my son loved it! He was able to predict a lot of what was going to happen, but he enjoyed being right about his predictions lol The copy I bought did have a weird green dot on some of the pages from a marker or something, but again, it didn't really bother me because I knew the copy was a used one.

Loved this book as a kid, and really enjoyed rereading it as an adult.

I really liked this book, The Beast is my favorite roller coaster ever and to find a book (adventure) about it was a delight. Maybe they can make a movie out if it!

I read this novel when I was a child, and even now as a grown adult I love the story. Fast paced, mysterious, intriguing. One of Stine's best.

The first time I ever read this book I was about 10. I'm much older now and I still enjoy this book. It is so good that I purchased a roughly-damaged copy on Amazon for a buck (plus shipping+handling) and read it again and again! Certainly one of the best from R.L Stine's collection and would recommend to anybody who enjoys a great story. Even if it's for kids. :)

Great book! I would love to see that story turned into a movie!
