Lands' End Women's Starfish Mid Rise Straight Leg Pants

I have finally found the perfect travel pants! I fly 3-4 times a week and like to be comfortable but also look “put together.” These pants are the solution! Can be dressed up or down with ease. All the comfort of yoga pants with the look of nice slacks. The material is perfect—stretchy, forgiving and just thick enough to hide lumps and bumps without being too hot. The waistband is comfortable and the secret pocket in the front is perfect for carrying your ID or a couple of bucks for a cup of coffee. I am 5’6” / 210 and the XL is perfect. L was okay (a touch short) but XL works just a bit better for me. I could gain a few pounds and these would still work or lost 15 and they would still look decent. Highly recommend. Going back in to buy other colors.

The pants are very nice and comfortable. The description is horrible but I took a chance anyhow. So first these are light-weight, they are not see-through. There is one tiny pocket on the front right side; it fits a hotel room key card or credit card in it perfectly and a car key, it has a zipper to keep it closed so while your exercising, stretching or moving nothing will fall out. You cannot put a billfold or much more than one maybe 2 thin cards in this so don’t think you can. Moving on, I’m 5”4” and have a long waist (high rise), these fit perfectly in both lengths. If you are taller than 5”7” then the regular size may be too short. If you don’t really have a waist and don’t need the high rise these may be too baggy. The shape holds in these and do not get baggy over the day while wearing them; so I love that. I’m not sure why it says these need to be line dryer because they are beautiful after washing and drying. They are very thin so a low heat for 15-20 minutes is all ya need. I do think they run a bit big and with the high waist and high rise there is no bulge over the band. If you are debating between sizes go low because there’s a Hugh amount of stretch and flex in these pants, you will be happier in a smaller size. There are tags on the left seam but none in the back; just printing on the inside. So while not tagless they are not in a place to bug you. The legs are straight and go all the way to the ground; none of that ankle cut crap here! The bottom of the leg is straight , no flairs and easy to fit over a tennis shoe.I completely recommend these and I’m sure if they had other colors besides black, I’d buy them because they are super comfy. It only receive 4 stars because they are super light-weight and not winter gear, and the pocket is way smaller than I like for my taste. Next time I’ll order a size smaller.

I really like these pants. I ordered both a regular length and petite length. The regulars were about 8" too long, I'm 5'3". The petites were the perfect length. I don't mind that they are lightweight, especially for spring and summer. They also keep their shape and don't bulge out at the knees if I've been sitting for any length of time. They're made well, the material is soft, perfect for dressing up or down. I do wish they had two larger pockets instead of the tiny pocket at the waistline. I'm not sure what could be stored in it! Very satisfied with these and plan to order more!

This is a very well made pant. The size ran large on me, and that is unusual. I wear a 3x which is usually just right without binding.In this pair of pants there was just too much room to move the waistband around, like I was swimming in it. Most of my weight is in my front, so this was a strange dilemma.I do like the quality of the pants so I’m going to get one size smaller.

The slacks were slightly too long. I’ve sewed all my life so shortening a pair of slacks is generally easy and fast. Not so with these slacks. The hem was sewed, I assume, by a Cover 2 machine and taking the old hem out without putting holes in the pant leg was nearly impossible. Fortunately my plan was to also narrow the leg slightly which fixed the problem. While I’m not a fan of a hem falling out, having one in so permanently that it was traumatic to take it out and shorten it a bit seemed a little ridiculous. All’s well that ends well, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

Purchased these to wear around the house as sweat pants, but they look good enough to wear to while out and about. They are comfortable with a wide, stretchy waist band that doesn't fold over. Only feature I miss on these is pockets. But I ordered a pair and liked them so much, I ordered two other colors. Highly recommend.

The product description does not say PETITE but that's what gets loaded into your cart. I ended up having to return them because I didn't notice the word petite had been added to the item in the cart.

Why hasn't anyone told me about these before now? I'm wearing these to work, with stretchy blouses, it's like wearing yoga pants in the office. They set up on my natural waist line and the band don't roll, I wouldn't wear a blouse that tucks in, but for a casual office they are great. I'm 5"5 140 and the medium fits great, that leaves them lose enough not to show any imperfections. They keep their shape, don't wrinkle from setting at a desk, and don't stretch out. They are wash and wear. Bought the first pair and then bought 3 more pair. I feel like I have been missing out!

I love these Starfish pants made by Land’s End. I have been unable to purchase them on the Land’s End site and when I found them on Amazon, I was thrilled. The pants I received were the right size, fit, quality, however, they were not petite. I’m going to have them altered.

Love love these pants. Have bought others at a liquidation in Ottawa but they come from an American store that doesn't deliver to Canada so I was so happy to find them on this site. Thank you for making these available.
