Exact fit for my 2001 Grand Cherokee. Side by side comparison with factory part it does not seem to hav any difference in construction or materiel aside from the fact that the factory part is burnt out. Given that the auto parts stores want literally hundreds of dollars --I have seen anywhere from $120 up to $313 (!!) for this same part--for a simple resistor--it was a no brainer to take a $10 chance on this part. If it lasts as long as the factory part, great, if it fails prematurely oh well out $10 bucks. I could actually replace it ten times before I touched the price of one at a local auto parts retailer. Given that its not a critical part IE the suv will still start run and drive without it or IF it fails its not leaving me stranded, I would just have to suffer with a HVAC blower that only has high and off (the horror!!) Its well worth the risk. Plus since the factory and aftermarket ones are know to fail over time anyway it should be considered a consumable. I will likely purchase another one and keep ot in the glove box. 45 seconds with a Phillips screwdriver and you're back in business. Given how bad Chrysler electric and electronic components have been since the late 90's there is almost no way this is NOT an improvement.

You get what you pay for. I had replace the factory original resistor that lasted 21 years in my 2002 Jeep GC a year ago with a cheap Chinese resistor, it failed after 6 months. Bought another one hoping maybe I just got a bad one. This 2nd one lasted only 5 months. Not going back for a 3rd, I'm buying OEM.

I recently got a new-to-me 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the AC / blowers were only functioning on 'Hi'. After some research the first stop was the blower motor resistor. The most difficult part was getting the old screws out, and once this piece was installed all fan functions were restored. Highly satisfied.

This one was 1/10th the price and worked just fine! Super happy. Saved the owner of a 04 grand Cherokee a ton of money!
