This is a great hat. It doesn’t weigh a lot on your head, but has great coverage and protection. It’s obviously really well-made and looks cute! It’s similar to a Stetson but has enough floppiness that it looks just slightly less formal, so it’d work on most beach vacations. I took off the leather band temporarily and used a thin grosgrain ribbon instead (to tone down the cowgirl look a notch). But the most important thing for me is the fit— I have a juuust barely bigger head than average, so most ladies’ hats pinch my head. This one has about a half-centimeter of extra room! Super comfortable. I will definitely be buying more Wallaroo hats.

This hat is exactly what was described. It has full coverage, great fit and neutral to go with most outfits. The hats have a draw string for a better fit. I would highly recommend this hat.

Looks great, provides sun protection as indicated, and feels comfy to wear. If you need a new sun hat, try it out.

Note: I added the strap seen in the picture.Loved this hat for a recent trip to Italy and would have given it 5-stars if it came with a strap. Anticipating some windy conditions, I added the leather chin strap before I left home. The strap also came in handy when I took the hat off, in the shade or in shops, to hang down my back. Good protection for my nose, ears and neck. I also liked the ability to adjust the fit to my head. I never packed the hat so never needed to use the 'gentle taco fold'. It kept it's shape nicely.

Purchased at the end of May and I am very, very happy with this hat. I bought it just for sun protection, not really to spice up an outfit, but this looks so good and goes with almost every summer outfit that I want to wear it anytime I’m outside (and protecting my face even more!).It is well made and firm enough to sit on your head without dropping, but flexible enough to not look stiff and also fold/pack nicely. The color is neutral tan and can go with a wide range of skin tones and outfits.Probably my best purchase so far this summer!!

I love everything about this hat. The style and sun protection are excellent. I look awful in hats, but wear them on the boat for sun protection. This one is great for that. The sizing ribbon is brilliant. I’ve never had a hat fit perfectly before - until now! Don’t need a chin strap for a light breeze. If you are wearing it on a boat while in motion, you need to add a chin strap. That’s easy to do (you can buy them on Amazon). I bought the Josie too. Same comments - love it! Thought I’d return one, but love both so much I’m keeping them!

Looks great on and I trust the brand so think this is actually UPF 50+. I've had skin cancer on the top of my head and MOHS surgery, so I always have to wear a hat in the sun.I've tried lots of hats and have lots of hats but really like this straw look.The adjustment for head size is a little tricky but I mostly figured it out.Would be totally perfect if they made it in different sizes.

This was the perfect hat for a vacation where I needed one that would be suitable for walking around cities and also to sit by pools/beach. It kept the sun off my face, chest and shoulders. It is very comfortable and I like that you can adjust the headband - it kept my head much cooler to be able to keep the headband looser. I got many compliments on it. It doesn't really fold so you'll have to carry it - or wear it - when you travel.

Well worth the cost for a quality hat & would recommend the hat especially as I always receive compliments whilst wearing it.
