Excellent Perspective
Ben Franklin was far more complex a man as I previously thought. He was able to do some extraordinary things in his life time from participation in the revolutionary war to writing the constitution. He risked everything to participate in the revolution. He was a diplomat and a strategist. This is just one of his many talents. Easy to grasp his principles.

Don't Shell Out for This Book
The book itself (if it can be called a book) was very good. But I bought the $8.45 hardcover edition not realizing that it was more of a pamphlet than a book. It's 30 pages of large font text and it took me about 5 minutes, if even, to read it cover to cover. I have since discovered that the entire text can be found online free to read fairly easily. It seems to me kind of ironic to spend any money on this pamphlet that advises not to spend needlessly.

Quick Hits From Franklin
A collection of quotes and anecdotes from the original American philosopher. Plenty to chew on in this very short little book around work, savings, leisure and laziness.

BRILLIANT LITTLE BOOK, STILL RELEVANT TODAY
Shouldn't take an hour to read from start to finish. Written over 250 years ago it was a privilege to read. Yes, you have to concentrate as the literature is slightly different to our modern tongue, but this gives it a delightful quaintness.I've always believed that finance should be on the school curriculum and I'd love this to be issued to every child at that time. OK it unlikely to ever happen but if you see this book get yourself a copy.Brilliant snip-its of advice that had me smiling (and agreeing) all way through. Superb!

Much better is to read his Autobiography
This is just a very short summary in huge font to fill up space with some quotes by Franklin. Much better is to read his Autobiography.

Makes for a sobering and funny read
Although the author wrote this book almost exactly 250 years ago the advice is still just as true and relevant today as it was back then. This book is full of sound advice about attitudes to life, work and money management. Many of the sayings that Franklin included are still in use today such as "no pain, no gain" As we all reflect on the folly of recent times with excessive consumer borrowing and our obsession with accruing stuff be it cars, the latest fashion, expensive meals and generally over spending then this little book makes for a sobering read. It's just full of little life tips and fables and is not dull or depressing. I liked it so much I am buying copies for my kids. We tend to think we are so much wiser and more enlightened than our ancestors and in some respects of course we are but I urge people to read this book and I am confident you will learn some life lessons from it.

Decepción
No me esperaba que fuese a tener 10 páginas. Buenos consejos pero debería por lo menos tener 50 páginas para costar lo que vale. Lo recomiendo en versión kindle
