Kirkland Minoxidil for Men Hair Regrowth Treatment, Easy-to-Use Foam, 12 X 2.11oz (12 Month Supply)

I waited 4 months to give it a fair shot and then write this review. I am 25 male and had a slight recession in the hairline, widows peak and a bit thin in the frontal quarter of my scalp and also thinning on the crown area. Not a crazy hair loss though. I use kirkland foam in the morning and kirkland liquid minoxidil at nights. I apply it religiously and hardly miss a dose. The foam is impossible to properly apply on the scalp if you still have a lot of hair and it's longer than one inch but you can't use the liquid in the morning before heading to work because it takes roughly 6 hours to dry. The foam dries within half and hour but it is less absorptivity compared to liquid. That's why I melt the foam by keeping the cap under hot water for a few seconds and then apply it exactly like the liquid minoxidil.I started notcing some mild shedding 10 days after I started minoxidil. The shedding continued for size weeks and I mostly lost weak and short strands of hair during this period. They eventually got replaced by stronger hairs. Noticed definite thickening after 2 months and it still keeps getting thicker. My hair has become amazing after 4 months. I hear if your hair loss is too aggressive, minoxodil won't do much. Also, I've heard that you will hit a plateau after 6 months and should keep using just to maintain the results. Be patient and apply it twice daily. It did not grow my widows peak back. I lost that part when I was 16.Side effect: extra body hair, facial hair and bushier eyebrows. I see new hair on my knuckles and the back of my hands that were very thin previously. I occasionally get crazy heart beats.

Batch purchase is by far the most economical way to purchase minoxidil. I started using it several years ago. It took at least a year of use before it was clearly restoring hair in the vertex area of the scalp (the only area it is effective), so give it time. It appears that extended continuous use is necessary and that the longer you use it the more hair slowly regrows. As noted in the instructions, if you stop using it hair will again start disappearing.

I was loosing my hair, as my two siblings did, and decided to start using this product. It works. In 2018, I stopped using it and my hair loss increasedso I restarted using it and my hair has returned. At 77 it's not as full as when I was 40 but it will do. My siblings gave up on their efforts. The FOAM version is the only recommended version and much less mess. Do it once every day and it works for me.

I don’t seem to get as much out of these as I did from the liquid and the dropper. It doesn’t seem to go as far when I rub it in either. The liquid actually made my head itch where I put it, this doesn’t. I thought the itching meant alsoemthing was happening, so not sure if this foam will work or not.

I have Not noticed any new hair growth.

This works exactly the same as Rogaine foam, but the price is lower. It's extremely easy to dispense and the contents of each container lasts even longer than a month for me. At first, I thought it was difficult to open the top, but once I aligned the arrows and used some pressure, it came off easily.One word of warning with this or any other Minoxidil product. Avoid getting it in your eyes. I was trying to get every last bit of foam out of one of the containers. When it reaches the end, the foam turns into a liquid. Stupidly, I poured the liquid on my head and managed to get it in my right eye. The pain is pretty much unbearable, so please be careful to avoid my mistake.The bottom line is that this is an excellent product, it works the same as the name brand, and the price is right.

I love the fact that whith this product, the " sticky effect" of regular minoxydil is a thing of the past. It's easy to style your hair with it when it's been massaged in.Except for the brief alcohol smell when applied, this product is perfect for me.
