Product description Long burning up to 4 hours;Low moisture: <9.9 %; Low ash: 2.5%; Calorific value: 16.5 MJ/kg (4.6 kWh/kg); Natural log appearance - look great in a fire; Certified sustainable: FSC 100%. Performance: These hotlogs have reported longer burn time than most of our other products. In our tests they burned for approx. 1.5 hours and then glowed while releasing heat for over 3 hours, for a total heat release time of over 4 hours. Use recommendations: Start by loading one to two briquettes and use some kindling or twisted paper to light. Because they burn much hotter than logs and expand slightly in the fire, it is important not to overload your fire box. To maximise performance, get the fire really hot before turning down the air flow and refuelling as required. Recommended for fireplaces, wood and multifuel stoves and log boilers. Heat release time in different appliances will depend on air inflow setting, number of hotlogs loaded, outside temperature, and size of appliance and can range from 1 hour to over 4 hours. Good once you get them started
The media could not be loaded. These can be quite hard to get started, but once they are going, they burn quite well. They are pretty sawdusty and woodchippy and snap in half quite easily, but on balance are good, but not as good as Wood.
