I bought this set to have a couple extra pieces because I broke one out of a bigger setThe small nail shiner that came in this set is very rough and scratches up your nails, no shine included! Unlike the other one I have which is very nice and leaves a nice shiny finishThey have offered to give me my money back, but it seems that making these is not an exact science and it might be hit or miss on what you receiveUPDATED! The company sent out a replacement and that piece is just like the original one I have. It leaves a nice finish on your nails. They’re probably all like that. I just happened to get one that was a little bit different.The people at that company worked very hard to figure out what went wrong with that piece and they bent over backwards, trying to make it right. You don’t normally find that in companies nowadays. They send a replacement and they hope to never hear from you againI will definitely continue to buy products from this company. They genuinely care and take an interest in the things they make.

This is a nice set for the price and it gave me the opportunity to try a cuticle stick and the shiner, which I've never seen in a glass file. The cuticle stick is useful for cleaning and smoothing the areas around the nail though the tip is not very pointed like some of the photos show. Still useful, but I wish it weren't so stubby. The shiner is interesting - it lives up to its name in that it makes nail surfaces incredibly glossy in a few strokes. BUT, because it's had and not foam, it's not going to conform to the nail and shine it evenly. If you have bumps or ridges, you will end up with shiny areas where the hard file hits the high points and dull areas in between. I intend to use it to smooth out the mild vertical ridges I have without removing too much of the nail surface. I'm happy with the set and would recommend it overall.

I bought this set mostly for the cuticle tool. I didn't know it would make such a difference. I have been using it once a week before putting on a new polish color. This tool cleans my cuticle area up very effectively without causing hang nails or the skins tears I would normally get no matter how careful I was before. I should have taken before pictures from before I used it to this point. My fingers are healing from my earlier damage but the extra skin(proximal nail fold) is buffed off to a safe amount so as to not cause more damage.The nail file is very effective and I like that it has 2 different grits. I don't usually require the course grit as I don't let my nails get very long but it definitely has its uses.The buffer tool was a bit confusing/scary for me. I don't want to make my nails any thinner than they already are but I do have some annoying ridges that show through polish. I don't usually use a traditional buffer since you can't really target the ridge. I attempted to use this buffer and it worked like a charm! I think since it is rigid you can get the high points smoothed down without buffing the whole nail surface. It's not something I would use all the time...Every few months as the ridges grow out again. I am very happy with this purchase!! It was packaged well too to avoid any mishaps in transit.

Everything was as expected, but the tip of the cuticle pusher arrived chipped (presumably broke during shipment). I contacted the seller directly to avoid returning the entire set through amazon, and they were super quick to respond and send me a replacement free of charge.

I bought these primarily to use when trimming (filing off) the cut tip ends after applying nail wraps. I have a pile of various files and boards, but none of them worked perfectly.The variety of surfaces, from super fine to serious filing, is excellent. I'm going to chuck the dozens of other files/blocks/buffers that have accumulated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Had bought from Gladzy before and wanted to replace a missing file while also gaining some new tools. This pack was just what I needed. Solid product, and happy with my purchase. The only downside is that this particular set has no color options. Yet, I've come to appreciate the clear glass of these files as the weeks have passed.

I don't have to buy the cheap nail file anymore that after 2 use are useless, this one is very resistance and doesn't break your nails

The media could not be loaded. Game changer! Pleased to see that each side of the files has a different grit which I wasn’t expecting, I’m not able to grade for sure but if I was to guess I’d say the roughest one is a 150/180 at most and every other side are a soft grit so 180 and above. On the small file there is a side that’s almost like a buffer with a very light texture to it. The edge of the file are a very soft polish so you’re not going to file the soft skin on the side of your nail whilst trying to file the corners of your nails (see picture).I’m sooo pleased with this item (and I don’t usually like to file at all!) But it was so fast to use and take off 2-3mm of length in a few strokes.The cuticle tools is brilliant and very effective, a word of caution just be very gentle and very light handed when using them as they are sharp and can easily damage the nail bed if too much pressure is applied.I’ve also done one coin test on the roughest side and the grit didn’t come off.Tried to capture the grits as well as I could and I hope it helps you look at the product in details.Can’t comment on the life span of this but I reckon it will last a good few years!
