Knives of Alaska rock!
I must say these knives are some of the best I have ever owned. I bought the two knife set, but found wearing both on a daily basis (I use a knife at work constantly) was simply overkill so I purchased a separate sheath for the cub bear. Now I can wear both, or just one if I so desire. I did put my own edge on both blades but I'm picky like that. All my knives get honed to my exacting standards before use so it's nothing against the edge KOA puts on their knives. They did a fine job for a knife right out of the box. Their edge far exceeds other manufacturers to say the least. I liked these knives so much that I purchased an Elk Hunter for my father and a Pronghorn Hunter for my father-in-law for Christmas this year. It's tough just sitting on these beautiful knives though. I'd love to add both to my collection....and may yet do so. I'm partial the the Elk Hunter myself but only because I like a drop point over a clip point. All in all you can't beat these knives for the price. In my opinion they are way underpriced so get them before the secret gets out and the price goes up. Top notch all the way

Frustrating
Got a very high hopes for this knife, about to lean my life on it and pass it on to my next generations. But with simple task harvesting Flatwoods and this what happens. Sooooo disappointed 😞

Edge was shotty
Let me first say that I have not put this knife to work yet. I received it yesterday.Pros: This knife fits great in my hand and seems to be very sturdy. Some people say that D2 is more difficult to sharpen. I disagree. It may take longer, but it's no more tough than most other steels to sharpen.Cons: The knife came to me with an edge that was all nicked up and jagged. It's nowhere near as sharp as I want and to top it off it's all dinged up.I will resharpen and fix this issue and give an update after I use it for some time. As of now, it get's 3 stars because I shouldn't have to work on a brand new knife.

Exceptionally wonderful knife set
This is an exceptionally wonderful knife set, made by highly qualified people, of exceptional quality and durability. Not for amateurs, but for real bush-folk. The "rubber handle" is actually called a "Suregrip", I believe, and certainly is that. It's the sharpest knife(s) I've ever had, holds and takes a good edge, is strong and durable, and, to my mind, without peer.Dennis H. Shafer UP of Michigan

Nice knives. (It's the second picture with the sheath)
Keep em oiled. D2 likes to rust, but keeps an edge for ever.Great company in the USA. Will purchase more if they stick to what they know. The sheath is very nice as well.
