I don't usually do reviews, but feel it's necessary to share when a REALLY good product comes along. We covered our Santos Mahogany floors with the Pro-Armor (blue) Surface Protection while the 4 workers needed to do 4 days of interior/exterior work. We had NO issues laying out & repositioning the Pro-Armor padded covering ourselves and it was easy to cut (size as needed). It has just the right amount of adhesive and padding on it to stay in place and do it's job well and it was super easy to remove over 7 days later. We used the blue tape on the seams from our local home improvement store. When it came time to clean up, we vacuumed it (bare floor setting only) remove the tape, still no damage. We just rolled it back up. The contractors were so impressed with the Pro-Armor surface material too that they offered us a job to go out and prep their next work site. Because of this product, the floors are in still in great shape. Even after the snow/wet work boots, tools, ladders, etc. on it and still there were no scratches, no dents, no adhesive residue, no water/ice melt issues. Nothing negative to report. We highly recommend this Pro-Armor Surface Protection product.For some comparison, the other product we tried was a hard surface protection film/tape type product (we do NOT recommend), it was a very heavy green plastic (not padded), expensive small rolls and not user friendly, too sticky, difficult to reposition and left a small amount of adhesive residue in spots upon cleanup. Note, we could not reuse the film/tape stuff!

This stuff is great. Before we moved our furniture into our new (100 yr old) home, we had the pine floors refinished. The floor guy recommended 4 weeks min for them to cure before putting this, or permanent rugs, down. Luckily, this worked for our time line. It stuck, it was repositionable, and it did not leave a residue. It also collected A LOT of dirt from foot traffic and stored- furniture dust, I noticed especially on the staircases. We chose to not re- use it, but had we made the effort, we could have. This WILL NOT protect the floor from furniture gouges or indents from heavy pieces (turning refrigerator wheels, heavy pieces being turned on the floor to position) its not thick enough. You should use cardboard for that. However, it will protect from scratching.

the best floor protection product we have ever used on wood floors. Light weight to transport to jobs. Easy to lay down, creates a very tight protective barrier when overlapping, tapeing seams and around the perimeter of a room. This product does not slip or slide. It can be vacuumed even swept clean. It wil not tear. In fact you need sharp sissors or fresh blades to cut it. Best of all it can be reused as long as the floors are clean prior to laying the pro armoire down. This product works. We used this when we moved into our house over the summer. We laid this protector down in our entryway hallway to protect new hardwood floors from being damaged during the move. The product lays out easily and did a fantastic job. It came up easily at the end of the job. The protector was so filthy when we pulled it up. It really did a great job catching all of the debris and dirt that was trekked in by us and the movers.

There wasn't anything I disliked . . .seriously. A great product that is easy to install, just roll it out and the backing makes it stick. It sticks enough to stay in place while walking or dragging tools on it, but still didn't damage our porcelain floors when we removed it. The workman loved it because they didn't have to take off their shoes or wear shoe covers.

I moved during a snowstorm to a condo with concrete floors in the main living areas. I wasn’t worried about the movers tracking in dirt, but I was worried about someone slipping on the floors because their shoes were wet from the snow. This worked perfectly! I left it down for about a month while I unpacked and it came up very easily with no residue.

This floor protector is well worth the money. It protected our new hardwood floors as we moved. It is extremely easy to roll out and easy to remove. There was no sticky residue left on the floors. We left it on the floors for 5 days as we unpacked. Great stuff!
