So creative!
Where to begin. This is my first time reading an Emma Yarlett book. This is an amazingly creative book. So imaginative. Silliness on overload. I was laughing out loud. The "recipes" on the inside front cover are worth the book on their own. Readers will laugh, giggle, and probably say gross a few times. The invitation "replies" are done so thoughtfully, with each one folded in it's own special way. The story has a great message of change and growth. The author takes bold chances with her humor and also by having the main monster or "villain" colored pink. I thought pink was only for princesses?? That being said, this book may not be for everyone. The replies have a lot of small font. Two of them have cursive writing, which I'm not sure is even taught anymore. Also, young readers might not get the humor. However, more adventurous parents will see this book as a wonderful way to expand a child's imagination. Even if kids don't get all the meaning at first, they're sure to be intrigued by a parents laughter, which surely will have them coming back for more. I could see this book being a favorite of an older sibling to read to a younger one. Sneaking off from the parents for a bit, to enjoy the"Beast Feast". Bravo.

This book is so funny!
I love this book. First saw it in my granddaughter's book collection, and kept laughing while I was reading it to her. The only caveat: I'm really not sure what age this book is appropriate for. It's definitely adult humor, but kids will like the pictures and text. My 3 year-old enjoyed it on a basic level, but I think an older child would get more of the humor. All in all, get it! If nothing else, you'll love reading it to them.

Very cute!
My daughter loves all things Emma Yarlett and liked how interactive Dragon Post was, so when we discovered Yarlett has a new book with letters, we had to preorder it immediately!I think the story is much cuter than Dragon Post and I like how Beast Feast's letters are not in envelopes, but are instead folded in different ways - it gives me less anxiety about small hands ripping the envelopes or losing the letters. Yarlett's illustrations are so delightful and quirky and it's such a fun story about friendship that Beast Feast has become an instant favorite in our house.

Creative and wonderfully done book
Wonderful book. It came on time but the cover was scratched a bit but not enough to detract from the book. The kids loved all the books by this author - they are great!

Fun and a great story
A lovely book with letters to open from all of the beast’s friends, which my little girl loves to do. Both the story and illustrations are fantastic and we have read it lots of times already. I’ve just bought another for a birthday present!
