Syrup: A Yuri Anthology Vol. 3

The short stories continue

I absolutely loved this book, I loved the romance and slight spiciness in this volume. It arrived in prefect condition, I recommend this to anyone who likes yuri. This is helping me start to grow my Yuri collection. <3

I love then theme of this one. Basically they gave me a lot of wholesome disaster lesbians being spicy. And it was fantastic. This one felt so relatable since most one shots were real life situations. The comedy was top tier too. One of then made me cry so do prepare for that one.

Sweet first time stories from manga you've read or are familiar with. Read this one out of order but will read the first 'Syrup' next.

I think this is my favorite volume of this anthology series. Milk Morinaga's story at the end proves once again why she is the Queen of yuri. However, there are so many other good ones to come revisit.

I really wanted to like this but I just couldn't. There is definitely a lot of potential in this book but the problem with cramming so many stories into an average-sized manga is that there isn't room for development. In many of the stories, there's just barely enough rushed exposition to help you understand the context, then sex, then it's done. While I genuinely liked the ideas behind of some of these stories (such as the ghost one and the one about the women trapped in bad marriages) and would love to see them fleshed out more, I couldn't truly say a single one of these stories was "good" in it's present state.

The theme of this volume is first time sex between partners. It's a wonderful subject. Most of the stories are happy, but there some that really bring a tear to the eye. As is expected of Syrup, the art is top notch, and includes some of the biggest names (and rising stars) of yuri manga. This is such an enjoyable book. Give it a read, even if you normally don't go for yuri. You might just find that you like it!

Loved it but it's not for younger audiences

Manga behinhaltet einige Kurzgeschichten, leider sind diese alle wirklich schlecht.z. T. schön gezeichnet, inhaltlich jedoch völlig abstrus.

Awesome Manga! Have read it several times. Each part is well written and drawn. Highly recommend.

Not as good as the first two volumes. Some of the stories were quite sweet, and nice to read, but a massive downside was that the very first story was Loli stuff. Didn't gel with this volume anywhere near as much as the last two. (at least in vol. 2 the Lolicon got murdered)
