It Good!!
I'm not too skilled at sewing or tailoring clothing. With this product I was easily able to change the fit of my shirt much faster than taking it to a tailer or learning how myself. The result is barely noticable and another great part is that you can always re do the seam of you need it. Works very well in a pinch and will let you refit your clothing indefinitely.

Works great, cool product
I’ve always had a fat neck and shirts fit too loose on me. With zip seam I can order shirts on Amazon and not worry as much that they won’t fit well. Instructions were easy, works well.

Pretty good for lightweight use - Not for Fire/EMS/Police
I put this into some dress shirts to try it out and it definitely took more than 2 minutes - especially to get the little string pushed in - but after that they actually work pretty well. And, as long as you wear an undershirt with your dress shirt, which I imagine most people do, you don't really feel them. They don't leave a lot of fabric flex in the "zipped" area but it wasn't a big deal.I'm convinced everyone saying that it's too difficult or doesn't work doesn't really understand the instructions - you're not meant to jam the entire amount of fabric you're taking up into the seam, just two layers with a flap left over inside the shirt. That being said, I bought these to trim up some fire department button-ups so I could tailor my shirts without actually needing to alter them, in case my issuing agency had an issue with that. Unfortunately, after moving around in them, the string just isn't skookum enough to keep the fabric tucked while bending and moving a lot. If you're just walking around or sitting all day it won't be an issue but it's not great for more active clothes. I'll almost certainly continue to use them on my dress shirts, however.

Too stiff to use. Takes too long. Not comfortable to wear.
If I can give 0 stars I would. It’s a decent idea, but the Installation is very difficult. Took me 20minutes just to get one side. That’s before the string.Once installed. It actually hurts. Scratches against the skin.If anything. It’s a good way of measuring how much a shirt needs to be taken in. Don’t install the entire thing, but maybe at the top, bottom, center would be good enough to get a good measurements

just right for our standardized product market
I am glad I took the time to watch launch pad ... I am excited about this product - it seems to be just right for our standardized product market.

Potential but VERY difficult
Updated.... These are brilliant. I've come up with a way to get the seams on, effortlessly. I've finished my prototype and filmed my video. I'll be sending the video in to see if the inventor is interested in including this method into v4. It's SIGNIFICANTLY easier to run the fabric into the plastic seam. As for the cord, the inventor has a great v3 video that makes it VERY simple to do. With that said, I give this product 4 stars now. It's 5, if he takes my idea and adds it to v4. I now get perfect seams and a great trim fit on all my shirts, in a fraction of the time and zero frustration.Previous comments....Potential but VERY difficult to use. The inventor must be some kind of illusionist to get it zipped up as fast and effortlessly as he does. I was able to get them in after much pain and timely effort. Unfortunately I gave up trying to get the chord on. After all that trouble, I put the shirt on and the seams came out and the plastic bits fell to the floor.I'm sure, with a lot of practice I might get it to work but my hands hurt and I'm so frustrated I don't want to practice anymore.Absolutely brilliant idea and I commend you for trying, but v3.0 needs a v4.Best of luck!

Very disappointed
The fast forwarded video of usage is misleading. After 30 minutes of trying to get the zip seams in I gave up before damaging the shirt.

works in a pinch... pun intended
I concur with both previous reviews, the good and bad. I used it once. I had a sudden presentation to give and all I had were my fat shirt. By chance, I bought these gimmicky items, but chucked them in the closet. These felt weird, poked into my armpits, and gave me a very unnatural boxy look like I had lipo-suctioned my love handles away. But then again, it gave me incredible confidence to stand in front of a large group and not have to worry about looking like I bought my shirts from Ross. You have to be creative in how to hem your shirt. The trick to doing this is to pinch your excess fabric inside-out, so that if these were to fail and pop, they pop inward, not outward and your secret is not revealed. And only a really discerning eye could tell you were wearing these side wires. Like I said, I only used these once due to urgency. I took all my good looking fat shirts to the cleaners and had them properly fitted by a seamstress, so now I no longer need these. They served their purpose, which for me was more psychological than anything else.
